Include times, prices, special merchandise, events such as: face painting, competitions, etc. Decide on a date and a time. Task 2: Write a formal letter to your theme park staff outlining all aspects of The Grand Opening. Try to write about each event in order, for example: Describe the morning events first, then the afternoons and finally any evening events. You need to tell your staff what time to arrive to work and outline any extra jobs which need completing during the day. Finally make sure your letter sounds enthusiastic. This event is huge and you want to build a level of excitement for your staff and visitors. Key questions: How is your grand opening going to be so special? What competitions and prizes do you have on offer? How are you going to make the evening special? You want your guests to go home with wonderful memories of the day.
