Joining a class (Your teachers probably sent you an invitation, not a code): You may have several new classes in your Google Classroom – to join them all you have to do is press the Join button underneath each class.

Finding Your Classwork and Resources: You’ll have 3 “tabs” in your Google Classroom. The Stream tab will show you all of the most recent items organized in the order they were posted, newest to oldest. This is where you can also answer questions and polls your teachers may post

Do you just want to see the work assigned to you? Check the Classwork tab! Here are all of the assignments posted to your class with their due dates (if any). You can also click the View Your Work button to see where you are in each assignment

Working with a Document Assigned to You: When you click on an assignment, your teacher may have given you a document, quiz, or slide deck to fill out. You can find them in the corner over here:

This will open the document, which if it says Google Docs or Google Slides will automatically save, no other action is needed than filling in the workYou also have the ability to create or attach your own files, which can be pretty much any type of file. Finding Your Classwork Folder in Google Drive: Sometimes you may need to find your folder on Google Drive, in case you forgot to attach a document or you forgot what you called it. You can get to it from the Classwork page

Here you can also pull up your Google Calendar which if your assignments have due dates will show you all of the work and when it is due (you can also check your Google calendar to see all of your assignments from all of your classes)You can find additional support here: https://support.google.com/edu/classroom/answer/9751228

Making a post on your Classroom page (your teachers may not allow posting, only comments or only private comments to the teacher):If your teachers have turned this on, you can comment on posts in your Classroom. Simply click where it says Add Class Comment, type in your comment and press the send arrow!
