SPAG: You will need to complete the worksheet on page 15 in your CGP Targeted Question Book ‘Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling’.Spelling: Write each word twice, first all in capital letters, then all in lowercase letters. Example: CAN’T can’tWriting: Have a go at innovating the third paragraph of our story today. Remember to read back over your work from yesterday as this will give you an idea of what you need to write today. Also don’t forget to think about the structure of the story.

Eventually, Max grew tired and shouted ‘Stop.’ Suddenly, he smelt good things to eat so he gave up being king of where the wild things are. The wild things cried, ‘Oh please don’t go! We’ll eat you up, we love you so.’ Max waved good-bye and sailed back to his very own room where he found his supper waiting for him. And do you know what? It was still hot.

Project: This week we will be working on food technology. You can choose to make a cake, bread or something else entirely (you can make more than one thing if you like or even what you are having for dinner one of the evenings). You can use a recipe you are familiar with or make something different. Your job is to create your very own recipe booklet, which will include a list of the ingredients you used and instructions on how you made it. Don’t forget to include pictures. Make sure you have an adult to help you do this. If you don’t, don’t worry, you can create a set of instructions and draw some pictures on how to make your favourite cake OR invent your own imaginative recipe. I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with. 😊 You can also use either one of the templates I have attached if you want.
