You have most of the basics in place here. Overview – nicely written and informative. You provide a clear SMART goal which is explicitly time-phased, subject- focused, and advises of the three relevant assessment tasks. Rationale: the word ‘adjusted’ could be fleshed out here. How will you present the task – change its focus, break it down somehow? The rationale is clear in all other parts. Assessment strategies are clear – a little more detail would be useful. For example, the diagnostic task – what will its precise focus be?

Comments:Well done Nick. You have most of the basics in place here.

Overview – nicely written and informative. You provide a clear SMART goal which is explicitly time-phased, subject-focused, and advises of

the three relevant assessment tasks. Rationale: the word ‘adjusted’ could be fleshed out here. How will you present the task – change

its focus, break it down somehow? The rationale is clear in all other parts. Assessment strategies are clear – a little more detail would be useful. For example, the diagnostic

task – what will its precise focus be? Data collection task could be more time-specific. Also, how will you analyse? Will you code the

data somehow? What will your key observation points be as the teacher? (e.g. application of certain named geographic terminology)?

Note: grammar - learners’ strengths (rationale section).

Jefferson-Buchanan, Rachael, 02/08/18,
Some further information in sections outlined would enhance the success of this plan.
