As a Resident at The Wright Center, there are certain expectations that have been presented to you in many documents including but not limited to the WCGME Resident Agreement and House Staff Policy Manual. Please refer to your Resident Agreement and House Staff Policy Manual for such expectations. Additionally, as a Resident at The Wright Center, there are subsequent expectations to which you are expected to adhere. These are outlined as follows: Attend conferences and seminars and be punctual. The minimum requirement for conference attendance is 80%. Understand the process for conference attendance tracking Timely completion of medical records and evaluations Responsible for submitting scholarly work Responsible for monitoring duty hours Compliance with all credentialing requirements at all clinical learning venues Timely attention to all matters regarding including but not limited to employment, HR requirements such as paperwork, surveys etc. Responsible for establishing learning goals and objectives. Submit at the beginning of rotation for example: (2) week rotations due within first two days of rotation, (4) week rotations due within first week of rotation. Responsible for completing and submitting the mandatory evaluations and direct observation tools at the end of the rotation. Proactively ensure attending physician completes required rotational direct observation evaluations. Active participation in hospital committees such as patient safety, credentialing etc. Ensure patient sign out system is up to date and information is concise for the transition of care between teams. Be punctual at all conferences, seminars, meetings, etc. Have a presence. For example communicate in person rather than giving orders via phone.

Our mission at The Wright Center is to provide excellent graduate medical education while providing patient centered care. By meeting the above expectations, we can deliver our mission. However, your failure to meet/comply with these expectations will result in disciplinary action and possible separation from program.
