The prayer ministry at PCA invites our grandparents, parents, faculty and staff to pray in one accord for our school, its students, faculty and families through the following opportunities:
Wall of Prayer - The Wall of Prayer began with a vision that a wall of protection, provision, and blessing could be built through prayer around our students and school. Parents build this prayer wall by privately praying the Word of God for their assigned students. At the beginning of each school year, PCA families will receive an email to let them know which student(s) they will pray for throughout the year. Each week there will be a scripture to pray, which can be found on the Prayer Ministry Link* on the PCA website. Please join us as we build and form a PCA Wall of Prayer! “But we prayed to our God and guarded the city day and night to protect ourselves.” Nehemiah 4:9
Grade Level Prayer Groups - Parents gather by grade level once a month to pray specifically for students, teachers, families and concerns specific to their student’s grade. To find out the prayer times for your grade, contact your Grade Level Prayer Coordinator listed below or access the dates/times on the Prayer Ministry Link* on the PCA website.
Grade Level Prayer Chain - Join the Prayer Chain for your child or children’s grades. Simply email the appropriate Grade Level Prayer Coordinator listed below and request to be added to the Prayer Chain. Thereafter, you will receive email prayer requests as they arise for that grade and for any school-wide requests. Your only responsibility is to pray and to keep all prayer requests confidential.
Grandparent Prayer Warriors - Become a prayer warrior for the next generation. Join the Grandparent’s Prayer Group led by Sue Overton and Kathy Wright. This group will meet on the first Tuesday of every month (only exception is March) at 9:00 a.m. at Main Street Café. March 5 will be 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the Grandparent’s Prayer Breakfast, immediately after the World Impact Day Service.
