Volunteer Coordinator Intern – DEADLINE MARCH 15 Placement: 6 months from mid March to incorporate the Body&Soul Festival other Body&Soul Events 15-20 hours per week. Candidate: Interest or background in Events / Theatre / Arts /, with preferable experience in these fields Excellent communication, telephone, written and verbal skills Proficient in Word/Excel with good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively Work as part of a dynamic team in both calm and stressful situations Ability to problem solve and stay focused in demanding situations / adverse weather etc. Position: Help with recruitment, scheduling, managing, and motivating a large group of volunteers prior to and during the festival while maintaining constant communication with each department. Volunteer Coordinator Intern – DEADLINE MARCH 15 Placement: 6 months from mid March to incorporate the Body&Soul Festival other Body&Soul Events

Position:

Help with recruitment, scheduling, managing, and motivating a large group of volunteers prior to and during the festival while maintaining constant communication with each department.

Duties to include (but not limited to):

Processing volunteer application forms Maintaining the volunteer database Assisting in assessing volunteer placement based on specific department

needs Creating schedules and assigning tasks/positions to volunteers in accordance

with needs of specific departments Being a point of contact for volunteers and communicating clearly and

consistently with a large volunteer database

Monitoring of volunteers to ensure scheduling is maintained Liaison between Festival staff and volunteers

Terms and conditions of the internship:

Position is unpaid but any expenses incurred related to doing the job will be reimbursed.

Position based in our Dublin city centre office. 15-20 hrs per week (Times TBC dependent on candidates availability) For a couple of days before (and after) both festivals you will need to be

onsite in preparation for the event. We are committed to providing adequate support for carrying out the

internship.
