According to our recent survey, the biggest problems of people trying to marketing their business online are:

ASOS Converting leads to sale: as we know there are many business do advertising for their business growth weather it’s about fashion, selling houses, cars etc; also many business have success in this to attract customers towards what they are offering.

ASOS do many things to make customers to take interest in their fashion such as their fabulous website which is very straightforward and attractive. ASOS not only have website but they have covered up all the social network areas for example Bebo, Face book and twitter; because they know how to make their business no 1; as we know many young people use social networks and take interest in latest fashion to be up to date.

Anybody can join ASOS social networks the customer can see all the details at the end of www.asos.co.uk the website page. They can also comment on the things they like on their website or ask any questions to with ASOS customer service; by following the link ASOS life.

Advantages of ASOS converting leads to sale

Making savings in set-up and operational costs. You don't need to pay shop assistants, rent high street premises, or answer a lot of pre-sales queries.

Reducing order processing costs - customer orders can automatically come straight into your orders database from the website.

Reaching a global audience, thereby increasing sales opportunities. Competing with larger businesses by being able to open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Being able to receive payment more quickly from online transactions. Attracting customers who would not normally have investigated your type of high street outlet. Improving your offerings using the data gathered by tracking customer purchases. Using your online shop as a catalogue for existing customers.

ASOS is an online business therefore resorted to the use of: blogs, pop-up ads and other online marketing tools to let customers know about new products or services as well as provide information relevant to their respective industry. The benefits of this strategy are twofold. Marketers can effectively heighten brand awareness for relatively new products on the market whilst strengthening customer relationships, with shorter time frames.

Now I am going to rate the advantages of using ASOS which is 5/5 this is because I think they are doing really good job and also I like doing shopping online and prepare the shops to open 24/7 but that’s not possible .

The online transaction is also really straightforward and the customer and also find out that when they will receive their delivery and also if they can’t find their package; they can also track that online.

Disadvantages of ASOS converting leads to sale

The challenge ASOS have to face through this is they can get bad feedback by some rude customers and other business can also see their comment and the new things they are doing to attract towards them.

1. Difficulty in Attracting Customers

Small business may not have the resources to pay for paid directory inclusion, pay per click inclusions and often have to rely solely on search engine optimisation or word of mouth to drive traffic to their sites. With millions of businesses selling the same product and services, competing with more established businesses can be frustrating and costly venture for small business.

On the other hand, larger companies can offer promotions, pay for directory inclusions, implement pay per click campaigns as well as employ the "who is who" in internet marketing to develop campaigns that generate traffic and leads.

2. Salespersons and Customers are Isolated

Another disadvantage of promotion via the Internet is that the customers and businesspersons are isolated. There is little personal contact between customer and salesperson prior to and after the sales is closed. Thus, the prospect for repeat sales may thus be diminished. Entrepreneurs are therefore compelled to adopt marketing strategies to drive online users back to their site.

For the disadvantages I would rate 3/5 because I think ASOS website is very straightforward and explains things properly for example if a customer want to buy things; if they click on the link top of the page it will take them straightway to the section he or she wants.

ASOS Managing an online marketing system: if a company have online business it’s really important for their to keep their customer satisfied for example managing customers feedbacks and improving their service, emailing customers about their offers and new ranges, keeping the website up to date and also maintaining their interest because if they don’t it’s really easy to lose them.

Every business has a specific marketing strategy that usually works best and has already been proven by most successful competitors. Many businesses can benefit from their experience by copying successful marketing plans, including selling methods, pricing and advertising.

Some of the businesses make a list of the most successful businesses that fall within their field of interest and study them (and even go to work for them). They also visit their competitor website to see how they can do better than them.

As we know that ASOS run their business just online; they have to do many things to keep their customers happy and satisfied for example providing a good customer service whether on the phone or website: we know ASOS do this because they have area on the website where customers comment on the things which they are offering, listening all the complains from the customers and improving it.

ASOS also give their customers feedback on the things or the information the customer is asking for, the website is also up to date with answering all the customers’ quires if still a customer doesn’t understand they can ask them on http://community.asos.com/.

One of the other ways of the advertising which ASOS do is that they send e-mail to their customers about their latest deals; in one way they try to contact the customer to buy their products from the website.

They also have to update their website regularly to keep their customers attention because nowadays the customers get bored really quickly from the old stuff and want new every day.

If you are a regular customer or sign up for ASOS they also send them regularly e-mail about their latest offers. That how ASOS keep their customers interest maintain.

Advantages managing an online marketing system

Internet Promotion also provides the advantage of being enduring. Whereas participation at a trade fair or conference loses sales impact, once it is over, and an advertisement in a newspaper or business magazine may quickly lose its sales generating value within a day or two or as soon as the next issue is released; Internet Promotion is often timeless.

Another important advantage of Internet Promotion is that it saves time since it generally does away with counselling on product uses and benefits, service information and sales administration. Visitors can access "frequently asked questions" to help themselves, and can buy online, without the involvement of staff. This saves time and money.

As with all advertising it depends on what you are trying to sell and where your target audience is, advertising on the Internet certainly works for some companies better than others. Obviously, a Bookstore with an e-commerce site has the advantage of being able to sell their product online, a plumber in a local town may be able to get the odd lead from the internet but the need for advertising online is almost certainly less.

There are however many forms of advertising online, I will quickly mention some of the main ones and some of the advantages/disadvantages involved:-

Having your own website - Setting up a simple web presence can be very cheap, although you may need to find or employ someone who can build and promote your website (this can lead to the development becoming more expensive). By setting up a website and promoting it in the right way you can increase brand awareness and sell products (to sell products you will need an e-commerce site which can again increase the cost) and generate leads for your business.

Banner/Pop-up Advertising - Banner advertising and Pop-up Windows can certainly increase your brand awareness, however a lot of internet users are becoming blind to banner adverts and immediately close Pop-up windows.

E-mail Campaign - Sending E-Mails to potential customers again is common practice, however again you should realize that many receivers of the e-mail will immediately delete the email and the conversion rates can be low.

Search Engine Listings - Gaining good position in search engines can certainly bring you targeted traffic - the user will normally find your site by entering terms that are relevant and therefore traffic can convert well. Good Search Engine listings goes hand in hand with how your website is promoted - or alternatively you can buy positions on certain keywords - this can sometimes be expensive, however you are picking exact words (or word matching) that lead to visitors to your site so they are often well targeted

Score of this section I would rate that 4 out of 5 because I think sometime the customer don’t like receiving too many mail all the time and full the inbox.

Disadvantages managing an online marketing system

1. Difficulty in Evaluating Legitimacy of Transaction

Another notable disadvantage of doing promoting businesses online is that it may be difficult for the businesspersons and consumers to thoroughly evaluate the legitimacy of a transaction. Small businesses are particularly vulnerable to thieves using stolen credit cards and stolen information to do online transaction.

With Internet credit card and identity fraud on the rise, small businesses are forced to finance costly security measures to reduce their vulnerability to fraudulent transactions.

4 of 5 because I think that ASOS website is very secure as I had a good experience when I paid by card and I didn’t had any problems and had any fair of losing my details.

ASOS creating content: the website content is what you have on your website; it can be articles, posts, tools, and videos, audio or links to interesting or entertaining resources - anything that a website visitor can use on their own time.

The key to website success is quality content. Quality content is something that your visitors will enjoy reading, watching or listening to and will refer their friends, colleagues, family members and others to it. By building quality content on your site, you get not only search engine traffic, but trust, reputation, greater conversions and incoming natural links.

ASOS website is very easy and straight forward their search engine is very quick and simple as a customer click on the link for example women wear all the things which ASOS offer in women wear will come up on the screen and then the customer can decide what they want. It doesn’t take long to search things around the website. If a customer get doesn’t understand they also have at the end of the page link call help desk the customer can ask question there.

4

ASOS search engine the customer can also write the thing he or she wants to search and press enter or click go.

If we go to www.asos.co.uk and go straight to the link women or men and they will find all the things they want to see.

Page 5: mehwishworld.typepad.commehwishworld.typepad.com/files/m2--internet-marketing …  · Web viewScore of this section I would rate that 4 out of 5 because I think sometime the customer

If a customer click top she will get lots of choice of the tops and also; the customer can decide the size and the dress style they want to see all the way through when they are doing their shopping.

After you have found what you are after and chosen the correct size and colour, your item is reserved for 2 hours and placed in your shopping basket, where you can review your purchases and make any final adjustments to your order. The shopping basket gives you the total of your purchase and is pretty standard for an online retail site.

Advantages

The most obvious benefit that this can give you is the convenience of time. You can work anytime you want and anywhere you want. Buildings, offices and office policies need not matter since you are the boss.

With online marketing businesses, you also get to save money on utility bills such as electric bills and water bills since you need not put up an office for your business. All you need is a computer and an Internet connection, and you are good to go.

Online businesses do not limit you in your local area alone, but you get to reach a lot of people locally, nationally and internationally.

Creating a website that is made especially for your business is also a great idea as it is proven to boost your business. There, you can talk about your products and services, but you must include your contact information for interested potential clients. Having an online marketing business can also give you loyal customers. If you have a website that potential customers like, they will frequently visit your site. They can also tell their friends about your business, website, thus, increasing traffic for your site.

Score 5/5 in my opinion I think the content of ASOS is very attractive such as their viewing system of the products for example zoom+ the product and also they show different colours options of the product customer clicked.

Disadvantages

However, this may also be a negative aspect of online businesses. Because there is not much money involved, people do not consider this as a real business. That is why there is a risk that they give up much easier.

Selling things online is not any easier than selling things off line. You must have visitors coming to your website if you expect to sell anyone anything.

This is an issue most people have problems with. Unless you have an advertising budget to spend on to drive traffic to your site, you will have to learn how to do that as many freeways as possible. This takes a lot of work and again many people are not willing to do that.

Score 3/5 because there business is online and they have to find their ways to advertise online is many ways they can so that fair enough; if we look at

Products

ASOS product are such a great online clothing site that sells the widest range of womens and mens latest clothing fashions, accessories and beauty needs; Online shopping frenzy to engage in the newly added stocks that just keep on coming. Each and every product mostly tops, bottoms, shoes and accessories have always been more than satisfactory when received, and for such small budget prices.

ASOS is not just an online shop for the latest high street look; it also sells designer brands such as Chloe, miss sixty, rock and republic, Fcuk, firetrap and many more. The products sold on ASOS are designed in the style of celebrity’s, therefore perfect for the up to date, fashion conscious being. ASOS is for everyone, female or male. Not only can you purchase the latest fashion trends, ASOS also have a monthly magazine, of a small cost, which talks about the latest trends, the do's and the don’ts of certain outfits, and is great for helping you keep on top of next season’s outfits.

Customer’s details security:

Many customers have problem and scared to give their information online such as address or their bank card details

To make a Payment is accepted in the form of credit and debit cards, which is slightly outdated, as many people prefer paypal or splash plastic. However the online order page is encrypted and providing you have up-to-date Internet security software you shouldn’t have any problems with credit card fraud as ASOS is a reputable website. There is the option on the online order page to save your various credit cards, allowing you to shop quicker in the future as all you have to enter is your security code (located on the back of your card)

After a customer do their shopping and make a way to payment buy any card they have because ASOS give lots of card choice to pay with?

Conclusion

I love my fashion, and being a student I hardly have any free time to do shopping, as I go out, work attend after school classes. So to have such a quality online fashion outlet available after hours for you, to order items at whatever time is great! But this site is slightly bit more interesting... Fashion: They have a wide range of clothes and shoes available from dresses to skirts for women and from cardigans to jeans

ASOS also have the cheapest items and are of good quality as I have bought a few shirts. They have a great range of premium branded clothing such as Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Diesel and Ted Baker to name a few. Their shoes collection is nice but not as broad as some other shopping websites which

The pad lock show that the website is secure and the customer can enter their details without any fair

specifically sell shoes. Prices: Their shirts are around £20-£45 on average, jeans are from £30 to £120 and t-shirts range from £20 to £70

They have a quick and hassle free 3 working days delivery service for £3.99, and a next day delivery service for £9.99, which I have used both and have had no trouble at, no late orders or mix ups.

I believe that this site is probably the first place I would go to, to check out new fashion trends and to purchase clothing and shoes from. They have a fantastic range of products, and a hassle free delivery service.

I would recommend ASOS to anyone, female or male. Not only can you purchase the latest fashion trends, ASOS also have a monthly magazine, of a small cost, which talks about the latest trends, the do's and the don’ts of certain outfits, and is great for helping you keep on top of next season’s outfits.
