THE PAINT & DECORATING RETAILERS ASSOCIATION (PDRA)ANNOUNCES $5000 SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION

Independent Paint Retailers Offer Students a Chance to Win Cash for College

ST, PETERS MO, xx/xx/xx - The Paint & Decorating Retailers Association is now accepting applications for its 13th annual $5000 Scholarship Competition. The Competition, which is sponsored by the National Hardware Show®, is open to students between the ages of 18 and 26 who are pursuing a higher education.

A PDRA Member must sponsor students applying for the scholarship. Each Member may sponsor up to two students. See www.pdra.org/store-locator for a listing of PDRA Members, or call PDRA at 800-737-0107, ext. 113, for the name of a Member Dealer in your area. Scholarship application, a 500-word essay and other required documents must be submitted to the PDRA office in St. Peters, MO by July 3, 2020 in order to be entered in the competition.

The Scholarship will be presented to the sponsoring PDRA Member at the National Hardware Show in Las Vegas on or about September 2, 2020. The Scholarship Winner and PDRA Member will both be notified prior to the presentation, and will be featured in various media outlets, including Paint & Decorating Retailer magazine, PDRA social media and email communications to PDRA Members.
