Indulge the senses amidst a romantic setting at the most exquisite property in Daylesford. As you enter the majestic estate, the long driveway lined by towering elms leads you to the stunning fountain that once stood at the centre of a French town.

The building is reminiscent of a grand old French home, flanked either side by beautifully manicured gardens and row upon row of lavender. The gardens can also provide a romantic setting for your ceremony and photographs. Sault is set amongst the magnificent backdrop of the wombat state forest, on a 125 acre estate.

Canapés and drinks can be enjoyed by your guests on the deck overlooking our very own lake or while playing a game of bocce on one of the three courts. With 180 degree views from all the tables in the restaurant guest can enjoy the culinary delights prepared by our head chef using the freshest regional produce.

Sault can cater for sit down weddings of up to 110 and cocktail wedding for around 130.

packages for 2013 - 2014

All the packages listed below are for a 5 hour duration. Upgrades and add-ons to the package are listed below and tailored quotes are available.

An extensive menu listing accompanies these packages however, should you require something a little different or themed cuisine this may possibly be arranged at an additional cost.

We provide for harvest style seating (rectangles) or squares (for groups of 70 or less). We can seat up to 110 people and our standing capacity is 130 people. All prices are valid until June 30 2014 after which a 5% (approximate) price increase will apply. All package prices include gst.

Menu tastings are $90.00pp and are held between May and September of each year on Friday and Sunday nights (or at other times by arrangement).

The ceremony on site area is alongside the lavender field north of the restaurant with the lake in the background.The cost is $600.00 and includes 80 outdoor chairs, registry table with linen, power under the trees for your band or celebrant and our in house event planner to assist you for the ceremony.
