WELCOME TO BOSCHEDNALBoschendal provides an idyllic and natural setting for any function or event. Surrounded by the breathtaking Groot Drakenstein and Simonsberg mountains you will find many function venues to choose from enabling you to tailor your special event.

Boschendal is located in the centre of Franschhoek, Paarl and Stellenbosch. We are only 45 minutes drive from Cape Town City Centre and 40 minutes drive from Cape Town International Airport. Up to 180 guests can be accommodated across the farm in luxury cottages.

All of our functions are catered in-house by Executive Chef, Allistaire Lawrence and his team. Our farm-to-table menus use only the best quality seasonal ingredients sourced from our fields, gardens and local like-minded suppliers.

We raise our own award-winning Black Angus cattle, acorn-fed pigs, free-range chickens and harvest most of our vegetables from the organic Werf Food Garden.

The natural surroundings make it perfect for outdoor weddings. The space includes cottages, a communal boma and natural swimming pool. Additional facilities include an indoor cinema, conference room, lounge and dining room.

The Retreat is a unique conferencing and pre/post event venue, situated in a far corner of Boschendal farm.

The Boschendal MTB and Hiking trails are easily accessible from the venue for those who wish to be active and heathy during their stay. The sports field towards the top of the venue offers the opportunity to add tented accommodation ideal for outdoor events and festivals as well as a finish line for sporting events.

RHONE ROSE GARDEN PICNIC The Rhone Rose Garden Picnic is situated under the tall oak trees with carefully laid out tables & chairs. WERF FARM PICNIC The Werf Picnic with its pavilion and fountain provides an idyllic and picturesque setting for a wedding ceremony. Guest can relax under the trees on bean bags, hammocks, backrest chairs or blankets.

PRIVATE PICNICSOur classic Boschendal picnic is located at the Rhone Lawns, the wine-making and wine-tasting hub of Boschendal. The Rhone Rose Garden seated picnic site has spectacular mountain views and is surrounded by the exhibition vineyards, the Rhone Homestead, the Cellar Door and our Winery.

Next to the main Werf and farm-to-table food hub under the trees lies a more relaxed affair, the Werf Farm Picnic site. The Werf Picnic site focuses on lazing about and enjoying the wholesome farm produce and Boschendal wines on offer.

GRATUIT Y As a standard industry practice, a 10% service fee is applicable for all food and beverages consumed at the wedding or event.
