Astor Wing Weddings at Hever Castle 2019

William Waldorf Astor commissioned the Astor Wing in 1903. Craftsman used Tudor tools in order to retain

the authenticity of the Tudor era. The result is a series of beautiful Tudor style buildings joined to Hever Castle offering magnificent oak paneling, ornate fireplaces, antique furnishings and an eclectic art collection.

Italian Garden Weddings at Hever Castle 2019

One of the most magnificent areas of the gardens at Hever Castle is The Italian Garden, designed to

display William Waldorf Astor’s collection of fine Italian sculpture. The Guthrie Pavilion, Palladian in

style with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling arched windows make for a light and airy atmosphere from

day into night without losing the romantic backdrop of the lake and gardens.

Ceremonies take place under the beautiful arched columns of the Italian Loggia overlooking the lake

Drinks receptions are held on the stone piazza complete with its very own Trevi inspired fountain

Wedding breakfasts and evening receptions are held in The Guthrie Pavilion

The charming castle at Hever has a rich and varied history, dating back more than 700 years. The romantic

double moated 13th century castle was the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. Today its splendid panelled

rooms contain fine antique furniture, tapestries and a unique collection of Tudor portraits.
