The Great House Hotel
This is probably a day you’ve planned for a long time and there’s no reason in the world why it shouldn’t be perfect; exactly as you want
it to be. That’s why when we are building your unique wedding package we want you to choose as much or as little as you want. We are flexible on everything from the menu to the flowers, the
seating arrangements to the cake, and of course, the price.
Whatever you choose from our bespoke wedding service, we will make the Great House your private residence from the time of your
ceremony (if you choose to have this with us) until breakfast the next day. You know that all our staff will be at your service to make your
day as special as we possibly can.
The house is a restored grade ІІ** listed building and has a wealth of nooks and crannies for photographs. In keeping with the 15th Century style of the house, there are 12 beautifully appointed
bedrooms with en-suite facilities. All bedrooms have fine linen, direct dial telephone, colour television, trouser press, hair dryer, tea and
coffee making facilities and wi-fi. Towelling robes are provided for your comfort during your stay. Our Dovecote Suite is perfect for the
bride and groom.
A health Suite offering full beauty and massage treatments is available.
Accommodation tariff and special rates are available on request.

Each room has a unique character of its own,
beautifully decorated for your special day.
Room hire cost for holding the wedding ceremony is Leicesters Room £275.00

These prices include VAT
You should ensure that you contact the Registrar well in advance to declare your intention to marry. Any fees
involved with the solemnisation of the marriage should be paid directly to the registrar.

Traditional Roasted Sirloin of Welsh Black Beef
Roasted sirloin of Welsh beef served with Yorkshire pudding, horseradish sauce and traditional gravy

Leg of Lamb Roasted leg of Welsh lamb spiked with rosemary and a little garlic (optional)

Loin of Pork Roast loin of pork with sage and onion stuffing, rich gravy, chunky apple sauce and crackling

Please note, we purchase only fresh fish from the market or local fishermen; therefore the market price will apply, please ask. These choices
are available as a fish course OR as a main course to include fresh vegetables and potatoes.

Standard Terms and Conditions of Contract
1 Confirmations Bookings will be treated as provisional until the signed contract (the confirmation) together with a non refundable, non transferable £500.00
deposit is returned by the client, which should be within 7 days of the original booking. Failure to do so, Great House reserves the right to cancel
the function.
The client must tell Great House in writing the final numbers of guests attending not less than 28 days prior to the function. The amount payable by the client will be calculated on that final number or the number who actually attend, whichever is greater. For your convenience a discretionary 10% staff gratuity is added to your bill.
2 Payments
Four weeks before the wedding an invoice will be issued for the total. Settlement of this is required 14 days prior to the wedding. Failure to do so, Great House reserves the right to cancel the wedding/function. Any additional costs must be settled before departure
3 Cancellations Should you have to cancel your booking; a charge will be made, calculated as a percentage of the total booking value, according to the scale highlighted below: Cancellation Period Percentage From 3-6 months prior to the event 30% Between 1-3 months prior to the event 50% Within 1 month 100%.
Any costs incurred for a particular event, that otherwise would not have been incurred; will be charged in the event of cancellation unless Great House are able to mitigate their loss. The client should confirm all cancellations in writing The Great House recommends that you consider Wedding Insurance to cover costs in the event of unforeseen cancellation
4 Confirmation/Reduction in Numbers The Great House reserves the right to set a minimum number to be charged for the event Approximate number of guests will be provided in writing at the time of booking. It is this number that will act as the minimum number of guests to be paid for.
Any reduction in numbers in the last 28 days prior to the event will be charged at 50% of the agreed individual rate, unless the minimum number to be charged is applicable.
5 Food and Beverages Evening buffets must be ordered for the total number of guests attending an evening function. We do not allow the wedding cake to be served as the dessert. Wine, spirits and beers may not be brought onto the premises for consumption by clients or their guests. The use of "miniatures" as wedding favours is not permitted.
6 Damage The client is responsible to The Great House Hotel for damage caused by the client, or their guests, agents, employees etc.
7 Theft The Great House Hotel is not liable for any loss or damage to guests belongings or personal property within the Hotel property no matter how the loss or damage was caused. Guests are responsible for their safe keeping of their own property and should keep their belongings with them and under their own control at all times. The hotel is licenced until midnight. All music must end promptly at midnight.. .All information and prices are correct at the time of printing but are subject to legislative changes (VAT etc) and may be changed without prior notice. Great House Hotel does not accept liability for any errors or omissions.
