Freedom to ChooseSunwolf in its entirety will be yours to enjoy. Your guests can stroll along the banks of the Cheakamus River, meander through woodland trails

and enjoy spectacular views of Mount Alpha. While on site, your guests will have exclusive use of the cabins and our beautifully renovated lodge. The lodge is a bright and spacious room surrounded by trees, which is great to relax in, host a casual self-catered rehearsal dinner or use to get

ready for your big day! Our lawns can be transformed in a variety of ways, depending on the style and size of your reception. A tent, along with tables and chairs can be rented to accommodate a sit-down meal of up to 200 guests.

Logger's Shack, which is a perfect hideout for the wedding couple. The cabins can accommodate a total of 54 people. In addition, we have a spacious lawn for camping with luxury outdoor washroom facilities.

Fergie ’s Catering Fergie's Chef, Krissy Seymour, and her talented catering team will lovingly prepare a creative and delicious feast for your special day. Our mouth-watering Wedding Menus provide a taste of British Columbia's finest wild and local ingredients. Fergie's Catering provides

exclusive catering for your wedding meal, hosted by our professional and friendly team to ensure your event runs smoothly.

PricingWe offer both weekend and weekday weddings, and require a minimum two night Full Venue Rental. The Full Venue Rental

includes the use of Sunwolf Resort in it's entirety and accommodation for your guests in our ten Riverside Cabins, the Fisherman's Cottage and the Logger's Shack. In our experience, a couple will typically spend around $25,000 for a 60-guest wedding at Sunwolf. This cost is highly individual and depends on the number of guests, budget and vision. This estimate includes exclusive use of the

venue for two nights, accommodation, a hearty BBQ feast for 60 guests, an open bar, staffing, gratuities and basic rentals, (to include a tent, tables, chairs, linens, lighting, plateware, glassware, cutlery, napkins).

Fergie ’s CafeOur award winning Fergie’s Cafe has gained a reputation for fresh, locally sourced, fabulous food. Although nearly all our cabins have cooking

facilities, the cafe can alleviate the burden of making food while everyone is getting ready or for the morning after. Sit back and relax on our deck with views of the mountains and enjoy our house smoked meat and fish, as well as our vegan and gluten free options.

Booking Information

How do I make a reservation?Contact the Sunwolf team to arrange a site visit with our Wedding & Event Manager who will show you around the property.

Once you know Sunwolf is the venue for you, we will require a 50% deposit of the total Full Venue Rental to secure your dates. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Please refer to the Full Venue Rental Prices on the previous page.

In the event that the wedding booking is cancelled, the following cancellation polices will apply:

• Cancellations received more than 90 days prior to the event 50% of the wedding deposit will be refunded. The remaining 50% is non-refundable and non-transferable.

• Cancellations received within 30 - 90 days of the event Sunwolf will retain 100% of wedding deposit received.

• Cancellations received within 30 days of the event Sunwolf will retain 100% of the final balance.

Do I have to view the property to book?Yes, if you are interested in booking a wedding at Sunwolf, we do require you to view the site prior to booking.

We like to book site visits ahead of time so that we can ensure that we have one of our wedding experts available to show you around. Get in touch with the Sunwolf team with any queries and to check availability.

Venue Information

What does the Full Venue Rental include? The Full Venue Rental includes accommodation in our 10 riverside cabins, the Logger’s Shack and the Fisherman’s Cottage.

Full use of Sunwolf’s five-acre estate includes the lodge, the attached deck, grounds, fire pit, designated parking and outdoor washrooms.

How many people can sleep in the cabins? The cabins can accommodate a total of 54 people.

We would provide additional cot beds in the Riverside Cabins to reach full occupancy.

Can my guests call Sunwolf directly to book their cabins?Yes, Sunwolf will provide a Cabin Allocation Form that needs to be completed and returned to Sunwolf

no later than 60 days prior to your wedding. No cabin reservations can be made by your guests without the completed Cabin Allocation Form. Any guests paying for their own accommodation must

pay for their cabin at least 30 days prior to your wedding. Upon receipt of your completed Cabin Allocation Form, Sunwolf will manage your guests’ reservations and process all payment for their accommodation.

We accept only one credit card per cabin and will issue the payee with an e-mail confirmation. Any cabins with outstanding payments will be added to your final balance, which is due 30 days prior to the wedding.

Do we need to hire a reception tent?As we are an outdoor venue and the weather in Squamish can be unpredictable, we do require you to have some

form of shelter whether it be a tent, stretch tent or tarp. Local rental companies can supply anything from draped sails to a full tent with dance floor that will create a fantastic setting for your wedding.

The tent may only be used during the period when the Full Venue Rental Fee has been paid.

What is the largest reception tent size we can fit on the property?40' x 80' is the largest tent that will fit on the property. The reception tent must be set up on the designated tent pad.

FAQs



What time can we begin set-up?Rental companies can set up the tent after 11 a.m. on the first day of the Full Venue Rental. All vendors are required to sign a Supplier Agreement Form prior to arriving on the property.

All other set-up, decorating and wedding prep can begin once the walkthrough has been completed with our Sunwolf representative. No set-up can begin until the walkthrough has been completed.

If you have a wedding planner, we ask that they accompany you on the walkthrough or arrange a time to meet with our office team no later than noon on the day of the wedding.

Do we need a wedding planner?We do not require you to have a wedding planner, however, we do highly recommend having one.

Wedding planners are very resourceful and creative; they can work with you to make your visions come to life and ensure your day is as stress free as possible.

Does Sunwolf have an on-site wedding planner?Sunwolf’s Wedding & Event Manager coordinates venue logistics leading up to your big day. Sunwolf does not provide a

wedding planner or a day-of coordinator. The Wedding & Event Manager is available by appointment for site visits and is available by email or phone for any venue related questions. All forms, payments and catering details are

finalized one month prior to your event. By the time you arrive on site, the venue will be yours to enjoy.

Can we have amplified music?Yes, you can have amplified music until 12 a.m. Speakers need to be set up facing the river.

Amplified music will need to be turned down at 11 p.m. and switched off at 12 a.m. You can have acoustic music after midnight – this is the time to sit by the fire with guitars!

Do we need to rent a dance floor?A dancefloor is not required, however, it is recommended as it provides a great surface for your guests to

dance the night away. Dance floors can be rented from the local rental companies.

Can we use the picnic tables?Yes, we have 14 picnic tables in the cabin area that you are welcome to use and return.

Fergie’s picnic tables at the front of the property cannot be used.

Can we use the lodge for our reception?The lodge is a great space to relax in, use for a casual self-catered rehearsal dinner or to get ready for your big day.

The lodge is not to be used for dancing, partying or hosting wedding receptions.

Can we have a campfire?Yes, Sunwolf has a great fire pit to sit around with friends. We do not supply the firewood. If there is a fire ban,

Sunwolf will provide a propane fire pit to use.

Can we release fire lanterns?We have checked with the fire department and this is not allowed within the District of Squamish.

Fireworks and sparklers are also not permitted.

Other things to consider that are not included:Décor, lighting, flowers, DJ, music or sound system, officiant, photographer, and shuttles.

Please ask our Wedding & Event Manager for a list of recommended vendors.

Accommodation Information

What time is check-in?The check-in time for the cabins and camping is 4 p.m. Please advise all guests to check in at reception.

Can people camp?Yes, as you have booked the whole venue you are welcome to have guests camping on site during the nights

the Full Venue Rental has been paid. We would recommend no more than 40 tents. All guests to check in with reception upon arrival. Check-in for camping is also at 4 p.m.

Can RVs park?No, Sunwolf does not allow RV parking. Please contact our Wedding & Event Manager for local campground suggestions.

Are there washroom facilities for campers?Yes, we have a luxury shower and washroom facility for your guests.

Please advise camping guests to bring their own towels for showering.

What time is check-out and tear down?Please advise your guests that cabin check-out is a strict 11 a.m. All camping guests must also check out at 11 a.m.

Tear down and removal of décor, gifts, food, etc. must be completed no later than 2 p.m. on the day the Full Venue Rental ends. This does not include the tear down of the actual tent structure by the rental company. Please liaise with the Sunwolf team and

rental company in regards to the time required for tent removal. Any other rental items must be stored inside the tent for collection. If a rental tent was not used and you have only rented tables, chairs, etc. they must be stored by fire pit for collection.

A property walkthrough must be completed with a Sunwolf representative at this time.

ParkingWe provide each cabin with one parking spot. There is additional parking in our overflow area for any campers or extra cars.

Wedding guests cannot use Fergie's parking lot. .

ChildrenChildren under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times, due to the close proximity of the

property to the Cheakamus River, the Cheekye River, the road and the railway tracks.

Can we bring pets?Yes pets are welcome at Sunwolf, however are to be keep on leash in public places. All pet waste must be picked up immediately

and disposed of appropriately. Bag it and bin it! Compostable dog waste bags are provided around the property. Pets are allowed in the cabins, however, no pets are permitted in the lodge. Please bring a crate if you

believe your pet may get distressed and possibly destructive when staying in the cabin.

Catering Information

Can you tell us about Fergie’s Catering?Fergie’s Catering focuses on serving a taste of British Columbia’s finest wild, fresh, and local ingredients.

Our chef, Krissy Seymour, is passionate about bringing people together through food and creating mouth-watering dishes that your guests won’t stop raving about.

What staffing is included with Fergie’s Catering? Our standard industry practice is not to include event staff in the price of the catering menus. In order to meet your unique event

needs, and to customize your menu and service, staff hours will be quoted with the catering proposal and will be estimates. Final billing will reflect the actual hours worked. Event managers and chefs are $35/hour, bartenders are $30/hour,

servers and cooks are $25/hour.

What is Fergie’s service time frame? Fergie’s provides exclusive catering and beverage service from 4 pm – 12 am on the day of your wedding.

Canapés can be served from 4:30 pm onwards. Wedding dinners can be served from 6 pm onwards.

What other catering services can Fergie’s provide? If you would like to spend more time relaxing and less time cooking for your family the night prior to your wedding,

Fergie’s Catering can provide a casual burger BBQ for the Rehearsal Dinner.

Can I bring in outside catering for my wedding meal? No. Fergie’s is a full-service catering business and exclusively provides all catering services on site for your wedding meal.

Can I bring in my own dessert or late-night snack that my friend or family made? No, as Fergie’s is a full-service catering business and exclusively provides all catering services on site for your wedding meal.

Can I bring in my own alcohol for the reception? No. Fergie’s provides exclusive catering and beverage service from 12 pm – 12 am on the day of your wedding.

Fergie’s is fully licensed with BC LCRB and will provide all liquor products and licensing for your wedding.We will provide the service of these products with Serving It Right certified staff.

Do we need to supply tables, chairs, plateware, cutlery, or glassware?Yes. You will need to order these items from local event rental companies.

Please ask our Wedding & Event Manager for a list of recommended vendors.

Will Fergie’s Catering supply everything for my bar service? Fergie’s Catering provides all garnishes, tools, & equipment needed to serve beverages to your guests.

You will have to pre-order the items being served; such as: non-alcoholic beverages, spirits, wines, beers, ciders, coolers, liqueurs. Since we are a fully licensed catering service, we will provide the pre-ordered beverage items,

as well as chill beverages, set up, serve and take down. With the rental of our artisan-crafted wooden bar, we provide coolers, bar garnishes, and a non-alcoholic beverage package. Fergie’s Bar Service does not include glassware rentals.

Will Fergie’s Catering supply everything for our wedding meal? Fergie’s Catering will provide the necessary serving dishes and serving utensils required for your wedding meal.

This also includes platters for canapés, desserts, coffee & tea, and bartending tools & equipment. Fergie's catering does not provide dinnerware, plateware, glassware, cutlery, napkins, linens, lighting, tables & chairs.

How can Fergie’s accommodate my guests with dietary restrictions? It is best to find out if your guests have food allergies, versus food preferences or dietary restrictions.

We offer great menu options for all types of food preferences such as Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Vegetarian, as well as diets such as Paleo or Keto. It is important to choose from the menu carefully so that there

is something for all your guests. Please ask the Wedding & Events coordinator for more details.

How can Fergie’s accommodate my guests with special dietary allergies? Fergie’s Catering does not work out of a nut-free or wheat-free facility. We will accommodate food allergies whenever

possible by creating a specialty meal. A specialty meal is one customized meal that meets the needs of all guests with food allergies. This is prepared and served separately from the agreed upon menu. An additional $10.00 per individual will be applied

if a specialty meal is selected.

Does Fergie’s provide water service? Yes. Fergie’s provides a water station during your wedding meal, where guests can come up and serve themselves water

from a dispenser. Our local water is delicious, and we ask that you do not bring bottled water on to the property for the duration of your stay at Sunwolf, as we are trying to meet our site sustainability goals. In addition, Fergie’s

catering provides water to the table, so that your guests can enjoy water service during dinner.
