Our role is to remove all the stresses, nerves and multiple to do lists needed to ensure you and your guests have a cracking do! Our Weddings Team will be that hidden pair of hands to grab an iron, fix your button-hole, and provide that stiff drink whilst you greet your excited guests.

Our venue encourages many stories to be shared.
Along stone pathways you’ll find secret alcoves, flower beds bursting with colour, a summer house, an outdoor gazebo… plenty of places to captures those intimate moments.
Situated in Kendal we look towards the charming remains of Kendal Castle and beyond to the edge of the Lake District. We will surround you with our landscaped gardens with breathtaking views of native oak trees, pine woodlands and inspiring backdrops of the Lakeland fells.
Our location is peaceful, well connected and accessible via the motorway or public transport, with the centre of Kendal and its main churches and registry office only a short drive away.

Our amazing wedding
Faultless!! Every single member of staff was friendly & helpful. From the staff who cleaned our rooms, to the staff who brought us our much needed cup of tea in the morning. The food the night before at Alexander’s was delicious and for the wedding day itself - our huge compliments to all the kitchen staff.
As we got married here our main contact was Nicola Postlethwaite and what an amazing job she did! From the moment we arrived to view the hotel for our wedding, we didn’t look anywhere else.
Nicola oozed friendliness, honesty & experience - nothing too much trouble and the same could be said for Christine Brown, our wedding day host. What a perfect day!! Christine and her team, were truly amazing and every single person made our special day, memorable and perfect!
We had so many fabulous comments from our guests, we couldn’t be happier.
