End of Year Prayer
O God of all beginnings and endings, We praise and thank you for the gift of this school
year. It has been a time filled with grace and blessings,
With challenges and opportunities, joys and sorrows. The days have passed quickly, O Lord.
The weeks, the months, the seasons, the holidays and holy days,
The tests, holidays, breaks, and assemblies, All have come forth from your hand.
While we trust that your purposes have always been at work each day,
Sometimes it has seemed difficult to understand and appreciate
Just what you have been up to in our school. Give us the rest and refreshment we need this sum-
mer. Let our efforts of this past year bear fruit.
Bring all of our plans to a joyful conclusion, And bless us, according to your will,
With the fulfillment of our summer hopes and dreams.
Watch over us in the weeks of rest ahead, And guide each day as you have done this past year. Help us return to school with a new spirit and a new
energy. May we continue to grow
In age, wisdom, knowledge and grace
All the days of our lives. Amen.

Year 6 Graduation Special thanks to Miss Morgan, Mrs Feldtman and Miss Nancarrow for coordinating such a magnificent Year 6
Graduation Mass and supper last Wednesday night. Thanks also to Mrs Wilmore and Mr Malcolm who assisted behind the scenes- a very special celebration for students and families.
Congratulations to the 2015 Year 6 Award Winners:
I wish our Year 6 students my very best wishes as they commence their middle school education.
The final newsletter for 2015 always brings mixed emotions-gratitude as I reflect on the year that we have had
together and sadness as another year comes to an end. The challenges, highlights and celebrations have been
many and varied. I am grateful to have been a part of your lives and for the opportunity to lead St Mary’s school community once again.
I am truly grateful to our dedicated and committed parent community. Our P & F, led My Mrs Kiim Parnell have
worked tirelessly for our school community and their efforts have helped to build a strong Catholic community and contributed significantly to the purchase of many wonderful learning and teaching resources for our stu-
dents.
Sincere thanks to all members of St Mary’s School Board under the leadership of Mrs Clalia Mar and
Fr Miguel. The support, advocacy and wisdom of each of our School Board members is highly val-ued and has made my work a real pleasure.

I acknowledge and thank St Mary’s staff who make a real difference in the lives of each of our students and their
families. I am blessed to work with such dedicated and professional educators who continually go above and be-yond.
Finally I would like to say how proud I am of our students and all that they have achieved this year. It has been a
privilege to witness each one of you grow in faith, love and wisdom throughout the year.
Farewell to staff, students and families who are moving on or beginning a new adventure. Thank you for
being a special part of our community. I hope that St Mary’s always holds a special place in your heart.
Please join us for our final school Mass tomorrow morning in the Cathedral at 9am where we will farewell members
of our community who are leaving, present our MJR students of the year for each class and announce our student leadership team for 2016.

Arty Kids 2016!! After a bit of a break…I will once again be offering after school art lessons in 2016.
I have a few ideas for classes which include working in the style of famous artists, painting canvases, working with pastels, mixed media, sculpture, deco-rating frames/mirrors…ideas are endless and will de-pend on the children’s interest.
At the moment I am planning on two groups; one run on a Tuesday and one on Wednesday. Classes will run for 6 weeks of the term from 3:15 until 5pm, are suita-ble for all ages and will be run at school upstairs in room 13. If there is demand an extra afternoon maybe offered.
The cost of the 6 classes is $210 per child and $180 for every additional child in the same family. This will need to be paid at enrolment to secure a place. Clas-ses are limited to 12 children and run by myself and another adult.
All materials are provided but students will need to bring afternoon tea if they like.
If you have any queries or would like to enrol your child in the program, please see me in Room 3 Monday or Tuesdays, email me at [email protected], register your interest at www.artyobsessionscom/arty-kids or con-tact me directly on 0438 845 720.
You will be put on a waiting list if there is a big de-mand.
Kind regards
Ms Pascale Zufferey
