This year's FBLA book drive starts April 30th and ends
May 10th. Please bring in elementary school children
books that we can donate to George Washington
Carver Elementary. You can donate to the book drive
bins in the office, by Starke's classroom in the main
hallway, by the Little Theater, by the Lit and Comp
staircase, and by the Field House/Main Cafeteria.
Please help us reach our goal of 400 books!

Thursday, May 24th
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Meal: $8 meal includes hamburger, hot dog, brat or veggie burger,
chips, cookie, and soda. There will be a dunk tank, snow cone
machine and great music!!

We are excited to share that registration for Oconomowoc High School’s Relay for Life is now open! Here is
everything you need to know:
WHO: The Oconomowoc Students 4 Service Club is hosting a Relay for Life charity event at the Rux
Stadium to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
WHAT: Participants are to relay around the Oconomowoc Track for a fun filled evening. Games, contests,
music, luminaria ceremony and guest speakers are just some of the many activities that will take place the
night of Relay for Life. Our theme for this year is Movies – LIGHTS. CANCER. TAKE ACTION! Choose a team
captain and recruit a team (STAFF and TEACHERS TOO ). There is no limit to the number of people you can
have on a team. Each team member is responsible for paying $15 registration fee (registration fee benefits

WHEN: Friday, May 11th from 6:00-10:00 p.m.

WHERE: Oconomowoc High School - Rux Stadium
WHY: Relay for Life symbolizes the unfortunate reality that cancer never sleeps. It is our mission as a club
and our school community to provide a meaningful, educational opportunity as well as to raise awareness
and funds to benefit the American Cancer Society.
HOW: Designate a team captain, get a team together (OHS staff too!), and fill out the attached
registration forms! Please follow steps in this document:

ng! We also encourage teams to set their own fundraising goals. Please talk with your team members to
set a realistic goal! Buy a luminaria during lunch!
**We would like to honor any cancer survivors (parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. who have been
diagnosed with cancer). We invite them to join us for the evening’s events, including the Survivor Lap and
the Luminaria Ceremony. Please follow step 4 in registration checklist (see above) **
Registration will remain open until Thursday, May 3rd at 3:00 p.m.

STARTING April 24th

ACT test the end of February? This class will prepare you for the ACT exam on
June 9th.

up during the lunch period at the Ticket Booth located by the exit doors in

How Do I Pay For My Lunch? Your lunch account will be charged by the
Foodservice Office after ordering. NO CASH TRANSACTIONS
What is the Cost? Price varies from $1.95 - $7.00 depending on what you

PARKING SIGN IN: A parking permit is required to park on school property. If you
do not have a parking permit, you are allowed to park up to 5
times “free” during the 1st Semester which ends January 18th
and an additional 5 “free” times during the 2nd Semester. You
MUST sign in your vehicle when you arrive in the morning on the
clipboard at the Switchboard/Main Office if you do not have a
Permit.
