STORIES AT CHESTNUT GROVE Neighboring: Jane Gildersleeve
“Our little cul de sac has been pretty stable for years with little change in resi-
dents. This spring, we had two families move out and two new families move in.
I was able to meet the couple next door quite easily as they were outside when I
arrived home…”
Check out the stories page to see how God was present in the act of Jane loving
her neighbor.
Chestnut Grove is comprised of amazing individuals. To hear and read some of their stories check out the Faith Stories page on our website: chestnutgrovebaptist.org. If you have a story you would like to share please contact Landon Collins.

July 31. -August 5. Please pick up a “prayer rock” and commit to being a part
of the mission with your prayer support. Prayer rocks and prayer sign-up sheet
are located in the Upper Room hallway area.
SCHOOL SUPPLIES COLLECTION It is the time of year to start shopping for Back to School supplies for children
and families in our community. Together, we can help all children have the sup-
plies they need to ensure learning opportunities both at school and home.
The Fruit Coop Team will purchase backpacks to be filled with notebooks, pen-
cils, pens, markers, glue, folders, crayons, etc. Please drop off supplies you wish
to contribute in the containers located in the foyer by the elevator and in the
Upper Room hallway. We are happy to shop for you if you would like to donate
funds to this outreach. Please contact Kim Casteen or Deb Robbins for more
information.
