WEDNESDAY WORD
Volume 52, Issue 17 ATONEMENT LUTHERAN SCHOOL December 11, 2019 www.alcs.org
2019-20 Theme
into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the
whole creation.
Mark 16:1Principal’s Notes:
We have a family in need due to a very serious medical condition. To assist them, as the ALS
family has always been a blessing to others in these types of situations, we will have a Saints
dress down day next Monday, December 16. The Saints are featured on the national stage
with Monday Night Football so we can cheer them on with Saints clothes and assist this
family with free will donations. Please see the details below. Thanks in advance for your help
and support.
Reenrollment for the 2020-21 term continues through January 15, 2020. All enrollment forms
can be found on the alcs.org web site. We with this process as we build towards the 2020-21
school term. Our current theme “Go into the world and proclaim the Gospel to the whole
creation,” Mark 16:25, captures the importance of full time Christian education to train and
equip our students with God’s Word daily. As they grow into maturity in Christ, they will be able
to witness in both word and deed for our Lord. Many of the parochial high schools have
remarked that our graduates/former students are not only well-trained academically but more
importantly bring with them a knowledge of God’s Word that surpasses most other students.

Principal; Staff Christmas Gifts
It takes many dedicated individuals working
together to make the school year special
for our children. This is our opportunity to say
thank you in a tangible way. The
monies collected will be pooled and then
allotted to the individual-- principal, support
staff members, and non-homeroom
teachers (approx. 20 individuals).
Homeroom teachers are NOT included in this
collection; the homeroom parent collects
teacher gifts.
Due: Thursday December 19
Please send cash or check made out to cash.
Please return to School Office.
Any questions call Lauren Lewis, PTL 1st Vice- President –
