Registered in England No. 06258147 WEEE Compliance Statement The European Union’s Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive was implemented in member states during 2006. There are a number of obligations imposed on Able Systems Limited (Able) as a “Producer” of certain qualifying electrical and electronic equipment. Able’s compliance approach for each of these obligations is provided below WEEE Marking. All qualifying products that are subject to the WEEE Directive and supplied by Able since August 2005 are compliant with the WEEE marking requirements. Such products are marked with the “crossed out wheelie bin” WEEE symbol shown above and in accordance with European Standard EN 50419. Able’s Producer ID Number WEE/MM0004AA Information for Users According to the timelines and requirements of the European Union member state WEEE legislation, the following user information is provided in English for all qualifying products marked with the WEEE symbol and subject to the WEEE directive. The WEEE symbol on the product indicates that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead such marked waste equipment must be disposed of by arranging to return to a designated collection point for the recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment. Separating and recycling this waste equipment at time of disposal will help to conserve natural resources and ensure that the equipment is recycled in a manner that protects human health and the environment. Able offers our customers the opportunity to return products at the end of their functional lives to Able for recycling, qualifying products are marked with the WEEE symbol shown above. Delivery cost of any authorised product returned to Able will be at the expense of the sender. Normal product returns policies apply with pre-authorisation required in the form of an RMA number without which product will not be accepted.
