In terms of student participation, effort and behaviour, it was perhaps our most successful carnival in recent years. Furthermore, many active parent helpers ensured all events were well run. Congratulations to Wira on their victories in the Aggregate and March Past. Congratulations to Djaagan, winners of the Ball Games events. Golf Coaching

Term 3 Resumes – Tuesday 14th July Farwell Marg Corsetti This year, Mrs Corsetti has been teaching LOTE and English across the school. On Friday, Mrs Corsetti will farewell St Joseph’s as a staff member. We thank Mrs Corsetti for her fine work with our students and wish her many warm blessings. Congratulations Sandra Freeman Mrs Freeman is currently acting in a Position of Added Responsibilitiy at St Mary’s College in Maryborough. This is Mrs Freeman’s first year teaching at St Mary’s, after working at St Jospeh’s for a number of years and in a variety of roles. Congraulation Mrs Freeman, we are very proud! P&F Meeting Last week's P&F Meeting truly was an idea churning machine. The team is looking forward to being part of the school fete and would love to have you on board. School Community Breakfast The last School Community Breakfast for the term is this Friday. The theme is "Your kitchen table", any donations of home baked goodness is much appreciated - piklets, scones, muffins, bread etc. Please let Mara know if you are able to donate (by this Wednesday afternoon, if possible. [email protected] Please note, that The P&F pride themselves on having as little waste as possible, any leftovers are either served at lunch time, or popped in the 'Helping Hands' Freezer. A big thank you to our school Mum, and supplier, The Pip Stop, for generously donating all the amazing fresh produce for the fruit salad. The Pip Stop is located at 6-10 Drummond St at Apple Tree Creek, be sure to check them out! Tennis Holiday Clinic A tennis clinic will be conducted at Rotary Park Tennis complex, 69b George Street, South Bundaberg by Tennis Academy Coaches, Murray Whitbread and Kevin Banner on Monday 29th June, Tuesday 30th June & Wednesday 1st July 2015. The times will be:

8.30am - 10am or 10am - 11.30am (Junior Beginners 5- 12 years)

8.30am - 11.30am (Beginners/Intermediate Beginners)

Woolworths Earn & Learn 2015 This year we will be participating in the Woolworths Earn & Learn program. Through this program we will be able to access new educational resources for our school – all we need is you. From Wednesday 15th July to Tuesday 8th September, we are collecting Woolworths Earn & Learn Stickers. One sticker will be provided for every $10 spent (excluding liquor, tobacco and gift cards). Place the Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker onto a Woolworths Earn & Learn Sticker Sheet and, when it’s complete, the Sticker Sheet can be dropped into the Collection Box here at the school or at your local Woolworths. At the end of the promotion, we will have access to a range of resources – including resources for Maths, English, Science and some fantastic fun supplies for Arts & Craft, Sport and our library.
