WEEK 2 REINHARD BONNKE: “GOD USES ORDINARY PEOPLE” (2005) Like a tree that starts small and grows tall over time, so it is with us. God calls and uses ordinary people. He takes our small beginnings, if we are willing and obedient, and raises us up to do incredible things. Don’t despise these small beginnings. God calls out to us, asking whom he can send. We need only respond by saying, "Here I am, Lord! Send me!" Have you ever felt like God was not able to use you for some reason? Why did you feel this way? Why does Jesus raise up ordinary people to do incredible things? What place do gifting and training have in being useful to God? What do you think of the statement ‘Jesus will lift us out of the pit, but not out of our easy chair’? The bible says don’t despise small beginnings. How does this speak to where you are at right now? How do we need to respond so that Jesus can use us? What responsibility do we need to take?
