1 Week of April 21, 2019 Transit Ride Guide The week of April 21 st will prove to be an exciting and memorable one due to the events coming to Nashville, most notably being the NFL Draft and the St. Jude Rock ’N’ Roll Marathon. We put this ride guide together to help our regular riders and guests to the city use transit as efficiently and effectively as possible. This will be a dynamic week where things may change on the fly, so make sure to stay up to date by following us on Twitter or Facebook (@WeGoTransit), joining our emailing list at bit.ly/WeGoEmail, and by checking in on our website at WeGoTransit.com for service advisories. Our representatives are also ready to assist you in planning your ride. Give them a call at 615-862-5950. General Travel Tips We strongly recommend riders get on and off buses at WeGo Central. We understand this may require additional walking, but it will ensure you catch your bus with minimal confusion. Street availability can change at any point in time. We advise riders to board buses at stops before and after the detours or at Central. Buses will pick up and drop off passengers at any designated bus stops along a detoured route provided safe operations are maintained. We encourage riders to refer to the Transit App on their mobile devices for more specific detour information. Purchasing your Fare/Ticket Bus Fare Purchases While all buses are equipped for payment once onboard, doing so will slow down buses and lead to extra travel time. We encourage riders to purchase passes in advance at WeGo Central Customer Care Window and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs). Train Ticket Purchases Due to the month-long closure of Riverfront Station, all train riders are advised to purchase their fares in advance or at the following locations: WeGo Central Customer Care Window and Ticket Vending Machines (TVMs); Kroger locations in Donelson, Hermitage, Mt. Juliet, and Lebanon; City Halls in Mt. Juliet and Lebanon; and TVMs found at all outlying train stations. This ride guide lays out train and bus services by dates. April 27 is a particularly busy day so please review carefully.
