Weekly Basketball Practice Layout (Wednesday) Nov. 4th, 2015 Memo: Attn: Coaches Due to time constraints and the size of our program beginning next Tuesday November 3rd, 2015, the two Advance teams (The Bulls and The Warriors) will practice together beginning at 5pm. The two beginner level (Greenville Golden Dragons and Greenville Hawks) teams will practice at the regular practice time of 5pm on Wednesdays. Start time: 5pm, duration 30 mins Stretch (10 min), led by 5th grade team captain of the week : Derek McDaniel 3 laps around the court: endurance training Bounce, chest, baseball, overhand passing drills Dribble utilizing the cones: Right arm down, left arm back up Dribble to a stop, swivel using one foot to find whose open / defense: hands following the ball Dribble into lay-up, 2steps then shoot All around the World: take a shot from all angles surrounding the basket, two tries per destination. Practice game positions: Center, Post, Point guard, Right and Left Wing Team Meeting

Weekly Basketball Practice Layout (Wednesday) Nov. 4th, 2015

Memo: Attn: Coaches

Due to time constraints and the size of our program beginning next Tuesday November 3rd, 2015, the two Advance teams (The Bulls and The Warriors) will practice together beginning at 5pm. The two beginner level (Greenville Golden Dragons and Greenville Hawks) teams will practice at the regular practice time of 5pm on Wednesdays.

Start time: 5pm, duration 30 mins

• Stretch (10 min), led by 5th grade team captain of the week : Derek McDaniel

• 3 laps around the court: endurance training

• Bounce, chest, baseball, overhand passing drills

• Dribble utilizing the cones: Right arm down, left arm back up

• Dribble to a stop, swivel using one foot to find whose open / defense: hands following the ball

• Dribble into lay-up, 2steps then shoot

• All around the World: take a shot from all angles surrounding the basket, two tries per destination.

Weekly Game Layout (Friday) – Oct. 30th and Nov. 6th

Start time: 310pm, duration: 30 min (weather permitting)

10 min -Team Stretch: Derek McDaniel

5 min- Warm up: Team 1 and 2 on south court; Team 3 and 4 on north court.

Team 1& 2 -Bulls & Warriors

Goals: Calling for help; passing the ball on time; learning to protect their position.

Nov. 6th: Protecting their position; focused on the ball; knowing when to pass

Team 3 & 4 - Greenville Golden Dragons &Greenville Hawks

Goals: 3 pass then shoot; pick up on positions; begin defense and importance of getting open.

Nov. 6th: Defense; Lay-ups and shooting under pressure.
