Camp Humphreys Family & MWR Week of March 27-April 3 WEEKLY Honk marks return of Music-Theatre Music-Theatre returns to Camp Humphreys Friday and Saturday, with three performances of the musical „Honk‟ scheduled for the Community Activity Center ballroom. Performances are scheduled for 1900 Friday and 1400 and 1900 Saturday. All three performances are expected to play to packed houses, with all advanced tickets already given out. No one is sure if everyone will show up, but it might be difficult to get a seat if you don‟t already have a ticket. Production of Honk has been the effort of a large group of Community Volunteers who wanted to see Camp Humphreys reestablish a Community Music-Theatre program. Based on the story of The Ugly Duckling, Honk will feature both Adults and Youth from the Community. If this production is as successful as it appears it will be, plans are already under way for future productions. Osan, Casey win Korea-wide Men, Women basketball titles Osan Airbase rolled to the Korea-wide Men‟s Basketball title while Camp Casey captured the Post-wide Women‟s title in action at the Super Gym and MP Hill Gym this past weekend. Both the Humphreys Men‟s and Women‟s teams finished third. Osan, which entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed, nipped Casey 98-95 in the Men‟s title game. The two teams also met in the winner‟s bracket finals with Osan winning 93-90. In the Women‟s Final, Casey ripped Daegu 78-55 after edging them 80- 74 in the winner‟s bracket finals. The Humphreys Men opened tournament play with a 86-73 victory over Daegu before losing to Osan 78-69. Humphreys then topped Yongsan 87-85 and Daegu 79-77 before falling to Casey 80-65 in the loser‟s bracket finals. Suwon AB nipped Yongsan 79-78 before falling to Casey (95-87) and Daegu (70-77). The Humphreys Women lost to Casey (74-72), edged Yongsan (66-65) before falling to Daegu 61-23 in the loser‟s bracket finals. Army Leisure Needs Survey started Soldiers, Civilian Employees, Family Members and Retirees throughout the Army are receiving E-Mail messages inviting them to participate in the Army-Wide Leisure Needs Assessment Survey. If you receive an invitation to participate, please “Accept” and then complete the Survey when you receive it. Thanks in advance.

Eggstravaganza April 7

The annual Eggstravaganza Youth Festival is set for April 7 at Soldier Field, kicking off the Month of the Military Child with a traditional Egg Hunt and activities for the children of Camp Humphreys, Suwon AB and the Army element at Osan AB soldiers and civilian employees.

The day starts with the annual Spring Run at 0900 and the Eggstravaganza at 1100. Watch for further details.

Army in Korea Short Course Swim Championships Saturday

The annual Army in Korea Short Course Swimming Championships are scheduled for the Super Gym Indoor Swimming Pool Saturday.

Registration starts at 0800 with competition scheduled to start at 0900. The competition will feature both Individual and Relay competition and will include all the standard strokes.

The Championships are open to adult USFK ID Card holders, including civilian employees, adult Family members and KATUSAs.
