OIL in talks with US company for shale gas joint venture State run Oil India Limited is likely to form JV

with US based shale gas(gas locked in sedimentary rocks) company to acquire shale gas assets.

In India, OIL is looking at shale exploration opportunities in regions such as in Assam-Arakan, Cambay basin.

OILs Chairman and MD NM Borah said they have plans to invest Rs. 300 -500 crore for shale gas exploration over the next 3-4 years

The Drift of the MAGGI Market share of Maggi dropped from

90.7% in Dec,09 to 86.5% in July,10 GSK entered into this category in

December, with Horlicks Foodles, has taken away share from maggi in south and east zone.

Other new entrants:- HUL- Knorr; Nissin-Top Ramen; Capital Foods-Ching’s Secret, CG Foods-Wai Wai
