Dinosaur dig Students will be podcasting as if they are at an actual fossil dig site. They will be reporting on what bones they find, what dinosaur they believe it belongs As a class, we will be creating a mathematical song or a rap to remember a few of our important math rules. Then, students will each create a podcast Historical Interview Students will conduct an interview with a historical figure we have been learning about in class. Students will have at least 10 questions to ask having to do with what they have learned about that person’s life and how they have impacted Mathematical song/rap Weather report Students will be giving news cast on the weather. They will be reporting as if they were on the radio, but can create whatever type of weather situation they would like. Students will include all the steps of the scientific method in their report. How to Students will each create a pod cast about how to do something (make a sandwich, ride a bike, etc.) They will use their pod cast to talk through the directions step by step and use appropriate language and descriptions so their listener can follow along. Weekly News letter Students will create a podcast describing what is on the class agenda for the week (special days, projects due, field trips, etc.). This news letter podcast will be posted on our class website so Word of the day In small groups, students will be introducing a word of the day using a pod cast. They will define the word and use it in a few sentences to describe the different uses (tenses) of the word.
