Furthermore, Franser Shipping sold their M/V “Taurus Two” 54/2006 Yangzhou Dayang, China (SS/DD 08/2021) to undisclosed buyers at a price of USD 4,8 mill, with last done the one-year-older “Novo Mesto” 54/2005 Zhejiang, China at USD 6,3 mill which was sold in February. Tankers A Joint Venture between Top Ships & Gunvor has acquired two MR sister vessels, “Eco Joshua Park” 50/2020 Hyundai Mipo, Korea (DD 03/2023) & Eco Yosemite Park” 50/2020 Hyundai Mipo, Korea (DD 03/2023) at a price of USD 27 mill each with 5+2 years T/C to Clearlake. Glencore have sold their BWTS fitted MR “Glenda Meredith” 46/2010 Hyundai Mipo, Korea (SS/DD passed) to Monaco based buyers Transocean at USD 19 mill. Remind you that the one-year-older Japanese built “Jal Anant” 47/2009 Naikai Zosen, Japan was sold in March at a price of USD 15 mill. After failing her sale in March at USD 15 mill, MR “Rhino” 40/2010 Sls, Korea (SS/DD 08/2020) has been committed to Greek buyers Medcare Shipping at USD 15,25 mill. Bulkers

Capesize

Week 19 saw iron ore rates on the West Australia / China route climbing in

the low usd 4.00’s fio range. No period activity to report here.

Kamsarmax / Panamax

North Pacific rounds continued rating primarily in the usd 5,000/5,500 pd

range. A number of Indonesian trips into China were reported fixed in the

usd 4,000/5,000 pd range. A number of Australian trips into China were

reported at the level of usd 7,000 pd. Inter-Continental trips with coal were

fixed around usd 5,000/5,500 pd. Continental trips into China via South

America were reported at the level of usd 11,000/12,000 pd. North Coast

South American trips into Continent were fixed around usd 4,000/6,000 pd

range. South American trips into China were reported at the level of usd

11,000/12,000 pd plus ballast bonus at the usd 100K/200K. No period

activity to report here.

Ultramax / Supramax

A number of Indonesian trips into China were reported fixed at the level of

usd 5,000 pd. Indian trips into China were fixed around usd 6,000/7,000 pd.

South African trips into China were reported at the level of usd 11,000 plus

ballast bonus at the usd 110K. Continental trips into Mediterranean were

fixed around usd 4,000 pd. Continental trips into South America were

reported at the level of usd 3,000 pd. Period fixture for an Ultramax at the

usd 5,500 pd for the first 60 days and usd 9,400 pd thereafter for 4/7 months

employment basis delivery in the Pacific.

Handymax / Handysize

A generally quiet week for this segment. Mediterranean trip into West Africa

with bagged cement was reported at the level of usd 5,500 pd. Continental

trip into West Africa was fixed around usd 3,500 pd. South American trips

into US Gulf with steels were reported at the level of usd 3,000 pd. No period

activity to report here.
