• ThewintryWest:BoutsofcoldandstormyweatherwillcontinueintheWest,helpingkeepdemandrobustforouterwear,heaters,icemeltandsoup.Drierconditionsbymidweekshouldaidcleanupeffortsforthoseimpactedbyfloodingandmudslides.
• WarmwinterintheEast:Aconsiderablywarmerpatternisexpectedtocontinueintheeasternandinteriorregions.Temperatureanomaliesof10°Fto20°Fwarmerthannormalwillbecommonformuchoftheweek.Colderreadingsarelikelylateintheweek,andcolderairwillpushwesttoeast,hittingtheEastCoastbytheweekend.Overall,itisexpectedtobeadifficultweekforseasonaldemand.
• Wetandwhite:AcoastalstormearlyintheweekwillbringperiodsofheavyrainalongtheEastCoast,withsnowandiceininteriorareas.Meanwhile,astormexitingtheWestwillbringthepotentialforsnowandicefromtheNorthernPlainstotheinteriorNortheast.
