Today is a good day! Everything is going according to plan. It’s a good feeling when you can check things off of your “to do” list! Yesterday, though, was not the case. What started out like any other day, ended up being a day full of surprises and unexpected opportunity. Some might say it was a stressful, unproductive day. I would disagree. You see, God kept showing up all day long and totally changing my plans. For example, He gave me an awesome opportunity to minister to a person of peace. I could have just ignored what God was doing and pressed on with my agenda. Instead I gave that time to the Lord. I’m glad I did! It made yesterday even better than today! Our Dad loves us and gives us so many good things. Let’s keep giving ourselves back to Him and to His plans. Remember, “Ask, Seek, and Knock” is what we do for ourselves and for others. ~Thom

Pray for Unreached People Groups:

Bhoi of India The Bhoi of India are mainly a land-owning community and often work in temples, which gives them a high status in society. Every family has a number of deities they worship. A Brahman priest officiates at marriages and at the wedding, the bride and groom walk around the fire seven times. They live throughout the Indian states with the largest concentration being found in Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. Their primary language is Hindi, but the Bhoi have 37 other languages and dialects spoken amongst them. There are no known Christians among the Bhoi. Pray that the Bhoi community will be able to care for their families and make schooling a priority for their children so they will be equipped to live in modern times. Pray for God to send workers to minister love and hope amongst this people group.

BRIDAL DRESSES AND VEILS NEEDED FOR MALAWI Our missionary speaker for April 29th, Marquita Mosher, is collecting bridal dresses and veils to start a business in Malawi. White wedding dresses and veils are very expensive in Malawi and are cost prohibitive for most. She wants to rent the dresses, not only to the women of Malawi but also to pastors and students and use the dresses and veils as examples to teach interested women in Malawi how to start their own wedding dress rental/dress shop. If you have a wedding dress, veil or other head piece and you are willing to part with them, please contact Diana Anderson. NMI will take care of shipping the items to Malawi.
