erbert Spencer said “The great aim of education is not knowledge, Hbut action.” And this is what we preach. With this we welcome all the members of the United Group of Institutions to another issue of

the UNITIAN, reflecting ethos and aspirations of the students, faculty and team members of the Newsletter.

This issue is a sumptuous present with an affluent and blooming mosaic of events for the new and fresh budding souls who joined us this year by the old, realizing the wealth of sympathy, kindness and generosity hidden in the soul of a student. The current issue amply demonstrates the skills, prowess, imagination, creativity and technical competence of the contributors.

The world today is changing at such an accelerated rate and we as educators need to pause and reflect on this entire system of education. Margaret Mead said, “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think”.

With this aim the concern had been articulated towards life’s incumbent learning experiences; art and music, open-ended discussions, exploration of technical world & industries, all of which contribute with a huge magnitude to the all round development of the individual heading to more springiness in curriculum by organizing conferences/seminars, workshops, industrial visits, development programs not only for the students but also for the faculties to help them to improve their teaching and professional development, etc. Along with the coverage of various events such as Founder’s day at Allahabad and Greater Noida, etc, the issue also highlights the achievements of students and faculty members encompassing the placements, research presentations and publications.

We would like to thank all the heads of the institutions, the members of the editorial, and all the contributors for their commitment and support in blending a variety of thinking, activities, strategies and group dynamics to make UNITIAN alive.

Thank you all!!!Enjoy Reading!!
