*A $50 late registration fee will be added to your tuition and fees if you wait to schedule classes during this Orientation. To avoid this late fee, schedule classes before attending this orientation.

Orientation FeeTransfer Student Orientation is $50 and includes all program materials, meals, and a Ragin’ Cajun spirit shirt.

Academic AdvisingYou must meet with an academic advisor in the college of your major. There are two advising options for transfer students:

Option 1: Meet with your academic advisor before Orientation

You should meet with your academic advisor prior to Orientation to be cleared to register for classes. After you meet with your advisor, visit orientation.louisiana.edu/register for step-by-step instructions on how to register for Orientation. Your orientation hold will be lifted after you are registered for Orientation.

Option 2: Meet with your academic advisor during Orientation

If you want to meet with an academic advisor during Transfer Orientation, visit orientation.louisiana.edu/register for step-by-step instructions on how to register for Orientation. Your advising appointment time is built into Orientation. Your orientation hold will be lifted after you are registered for Orientation.
