Emergency Action Plans
Indiana University Northwest is an organization that is
interested in the safety and well-being of all its members. As
such, the university has developed building-specific
Emergency Action Plans. These plans describe the
initial responsibilities and actions to be taken to protect
the employees from serious injury, property loss, or loss
of life in the event of a major disaster (fire, tornado,
earthquake, hazardous chemical spill, etc.)
I N D I A N A U N I V E R S I T Y 31
Emergency Action Plans
Employer Responsibilities
IU Northwest is required to make available and review with each employee those parts of the plan the employee must know to protect him/her in the event of an emergency.
