FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS• HR cuts 95% of all applicants – more than half will be cut
for not following directions!
WHY DO I NEED THIS?• Your Master Application is your presentation on paper – You
can control your perception.
• An application is a legally binding document that MOST employers require, whereas a resume is a marketing tool
• Having a complete Master Application will help you with online and paper applications
Instead of listing your full social security number, use the last 4 numbers or a series of 1’s . I.E. 111-11-1111

• Always send a note – through email and/ or regular mail
The 5-day rule
• Be sure to contact them after 5 business days
If didn’t get the job, still follow up again 2-3 weeks later
• The person hired may not have worked out
REMEMBER YOUR FUNNEL…Don’t stop searching just because of one good interview
It takes time to fill the top of the funnel – if you stop looking, it takes longer to generate more interviews…
