Please note that your Champion information will be asked for on this form as the primary point of contact, however, if you have other key team members who need campaign updates (training registrations, upcoming deadlines, etc) also complete this sign-up form. Typical giving day campaigns charge up to 9%What are the fees associated with Long Beach Gives?
● Donors will be given the opportunity to cover these fees (and 60% of donors usually do!)● Fees only calculated on online donations
CiviCore platform fee 3.0%
LBG support fee to ensure customer support, administration and sustainability 0.5%
Credit card fee charged by third-party merchant (Amex charges an additional 1.0%)
Transaction fee per donation
2.2%

Serves as the lead and primary point of contact for Long Beach Gives to help your agency be campaign-ready by:
● Enlisting a campaign team to support your Champion● Attending trainings and Circle of Champion support calls● Recruiting Long Beach Gives peer to peer fundraisers (P2P)● Overseeing marketing activities leading up to and on Long Beach Gives Day● Encouraging, responding to, and thanking donors● Capturing lessons learned that can be implemented next year

Peer-to-peer fundraisers (P2Ps) help your campaign go viral What is the P2Ps Role?
A P2P is a passionate supporter who rallies around your cause to fundraise on your behalf● Ideal P2Ps include your Board of Directors, volunteers, staff, dedicated supporters,
friends, and family.● P2Ps will be trained on how to set up their individual page, establish a fundraising goal,
create a personal appeal story and keep it fun.● The new CiviCore platform makes it simple to setup and share P2P pages via email and
social media.● P2Ps broaden your reach through their social media and emails to help them reach
their goal.

● Participating agencies are encouraged to secure their own Challenge Funds● Dedicated to just your organization● Solicited from your board members, key donors, businesses, volunteers, etc. ● Organizations with Challenge Funds are searchable on the site● LBG raises funds from sponsors to encourage fundraising efforts with prizes

Prepare requested items to launch your giving day profile page!Giving Day Profile Page, Setup Timeline, and Deadlines
Monday, June 8th: We will provide a checklist of form fields you will need to complete for your Civicore account setup which will include, but is not limited to:
○ Review and agree to Privacy Policy and Terms of Service ○ Statement of how much you plan to raise and why○ Up to 8 photos, up to 4 videos, and 1 logo file ○ W9 Taxpayer Identification Number and Certification Form
Monday, July 27th: The Champion will be given login access to the CiviCore platform to explore and start working on their giving day profile page.Tuesday, August 4th: After the CiviCore platform training agencies can begin submitting pages for Campaign Director’s approval and publication on website.Monday, August 17th: The deadline to create your organization’s giving day profile page, but the sooner you submit it, the sooner it can be approved for publication.

It may seem like a lot but we promise setting up your giving day page on CiviCore is as easy as setting up your Facebook profile page. Here are some options to help you prepare:
● We recommend you use the Circle of Champion calls to ask questions and go over items needed for your giving day page setup.
● If you want specific feedback on your page book a meeting with Niko.● Check out last year’s profile pages for ideas (although we are using a different platform).● Check out another CiviCore giving day website for ideas and inspiration.

Prizes will be awarded randomly during the campaign, organizations will be broken down into various categories, and may include:
