Class of 2020
Graduation requirements for Billings Public Schools--required fourteen (14) required credits and seven (7) elective credits:
4 credits in English
2 credits in Mathematics
1 credit in World History
1 credit in American History
1/2 credit in American Government and 1/2 credit in a Senior Social Studies course
2 credits in Science (1 Biological and 1 Physical)
1 credit in Physical Education and Health
1 credit in Visual or Performing Arts
1 credit in Practical Arts
7 credits in Electives
It is important to have strong ACADEMIC courses junior and senior years!
Students should have at least 4 core classes!
● Colleges are very sensitive to course selection and grades
● Colleges can withdraw an acceptance based on the final transcript submitted
● If your student is entering the military after high school, their options can be limited by poor performance
