ExpectationsChildren are expected to follow

the school’s classroom rules which are on display in every room. There are plenty of occasions

when we encourage discussion but there are also times when we ask the children to work in silence.

We also try to develop the children’s ability to work

independently.

HomeworkThe children will be given spellings and

tables on a Friday and tested on a Wednesday. They will also receive a mini-project to complete over the half term. As this is new, children will only complete one project over the Autumn Term. Teachers

will provide a structure to the pieces of work expected/issued. In addition to this, they will receive maths homework (which will usually be Mathletics.) This is issued on

Friday and returned on or before the following Wednesday.
