Fun Friday!!!My goal is to create an environment which is

stimulating and safe for your child. This includes assisting children in making appropriate behavioral choices. Each child has a behavior folder. In this

folder I will record any classroom infraction on the date that it occurred. Please be aware that missed

homework is considered a classroom infraction. A child who receives two marks in one week will lose 5

minutes of Fun Friday. If three or more marks are recorded in your child’s folder they will lose Fun Friday and I will note in his/her agenda. I will ask for them to

be signed at the end of the month.

Homework Students received an agenda and a “homework”

folder on the first day of school. They are required to write the assignments down in their agenda. Every night students will have 20 minutes of reading (must be A.R. books), a math practice page, as well as to study for tests the night prior to a test. Please take a few minutes to sign off on the student’s agenda after you see that the homework has been completed. In addition, I may leave comments of praise or concern, please feel free to do the same.

**Please note: Having the reading log signed each night is also part of your child’s homework.

Restroom› The procedure is simple—

Students are asked to use the restroom on their own time...meaning not when I am teaching.

If it is an EMERGENCY they may ask while I am teaching.

Two fingers as not to interrupt anyone else’s learning time

Water Fountain Please send in a

water bottle with your child daily. We do visit the water fountain after recess, but having one in the classroom will limit wasted time going to the water fountain.
