Who are the ASHRAE Oryx Chapter

ASHRAE Qatar Oryx Chapter, founded in 31/01/2008.
ASHRAE, founded in 1894, is a global professional society committed to serve
humanity by advancing the arts and sciences of heating ventilation, air conditioning,
refrigeration and their allied fields.
As an industry leader in research, standards writing, publishing, certification and
continuing education, ASHRAE and its members are dedicated to promoting a healthy

2. Member in various technical committee at ASHRAE level
3. Participating in Standards Technical Committees at ASHRAE level
4. Organize the Energy Indoor & Environment for Hot Climate Conference
5. Attending Meetings/Workshops inside and outside Qatar
6. Organize HVAC Design Training
7. Program Review Committee Member of the College of North Atlantic Qatar
8. Cooperate with Qatar University for many technical activities & program
9. Cooperate with Qatar Society of Engineers as per the signed MOU
10. Cooperate with GORD for technical & training program
