Per TEA guidelines, online learning will look differently than it did in the Spring. There will be a minimum 180 minutes of student learning opportunities in accordance with the guidelines set forth. These minutes include whole group, small group, and independent work.
Our day will be structured much more like a regular school day than it was at the end of last school year.

Attendance will be taken daily! Please report absences through the attendance line.

OFE will use See Saw as our campus-wide LMS. While we are excited that most of our new 2nd graders & 2nd grade families are already familiar with this learning platform, please have patience and grace with our team as the campus transitions. Our Week @ a Glance will be posted in See Saw for our students’ learning convenience. Homeroom teachers will be calling parents Friday or Monday with your child’s username and password information.

Supplies???I will be getting a supply list to you of absolutely necessary supplies for online learning soon. However, if you are considering the option of transitioning back to on-campus learning at any point, I highly recommend going ahead and getting all the supplies listed now while they are on sale.If and when your child returns to campus, he/she will need a labeled personal water bottle & personal headphones in addition to the items listed on the grade level supply list.

While I am currently your child’s assigned teacher, if (at any point) your child’s learning needs change, please understand that your child’s assigned teacher will most likely change with the transition as well. Grade level teams are currently divided between online teacher assignments and face-to-face classroom assignments. Please contact your child’s homeroom teacher with needed changes, complete the District’s Online Learning Location form, and then allot 5 days for the processing of the transition.
