LOVE BEGINS HERE - This summer our parish will host middle school students from across the diocese from July 21–July 24. Would you like help with some yard work? Do your windows need to be washed? How about a simple painting project? These young people are eager and willing to help, and all groups will be accompanied by adult chaperones. Please contact the parish office if you would like a helping hand this summer. Please also pray for our high school missionaries who are serving and helping the people in Monona this week with the Love Begins Here team. MUSIC OPPORTUNITY - We are in the summer season, but, as Father might say - there is no vacation from the Lord. So it’s always a good time to consider becoming a part of the music program, either as a song leader or perhaps as a member of the choir. New members are always welcome. Contact Mark by email: [email protected] or call 361-1884. Thanks! BRAT FRY - The Knight of Columbus will be holding a brat fry on Saturday, June 29, 10 AM - 4 PM at Walmart in Berlin. All proceeds go to the KC's scholarship fund. This year they were able to give 3 - $800 scholarships with the money they made on last year's brat fry. Come have a brat to support a great cause! ALL SAINTS AT THE BALLPARK: The Holy Name Society is again organizing an evening at Timber Rattlers Stadium. The game will be on Wednesday (More bang for your Buck night) July 17. Ticket prices will be $9 each and we have reserved 40 seats. Unfortunately we will not have a bus available this year so carpooling is encouraged. If you are interested please call John Brennan at (920) 279-9265 or email: [email protected] EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS - Due to the fact we may be having visiting priests with us who are assisting on upcoming weekends, please check in with Sr. Michaeleen at the server's sacristy before Mass regarding any Communion changes from what we usually do. Thank you for your understanding as we work through these next weeks to help make things go smoothly and reverently all for God's honor and glory. IN SEARCH OF YOUNG ADULTS! - SPIRITUS is seeking Catholic young adults, 21-29 years of age, to join the SPIRITUS missionary team this August. SPIRITUS ignites the faith in thousands of young Catholics through retreats and parish youth ministry each year! Missionaries live in community and travel to parishes and schools throughout Wisconsin; they receive training, formation, spiritual direction, lodging, food, a monthly allowance, health insurance and a $2,000 stipend upon completion of the 9-month program. It is a unique opportunity to serve our Lord and help young Catholics grow in faith. Visit www.spiritusministries.org, contact Rachel at [email protected], or (920) 722-8918 x113 for more information.

Bishop Donald J. Hying to be Installed as 5th Bishop of Madison on June 25 The installation Mass will be held at St. Maria Goretti Church in Madison at 11:00 AM. Thank you for under-standing that seating is limited for the installation Mass so reservations were required by June 10. The public is invited to attend Solemn Vespers on Monday, June 24th, at 7:00 PM at Saint Maria Goretti Church, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison, WI. Both Vespers and the Mass of Installation will be streamed live on EWTN, Relevant Radio, and Facebook. Please join us in praying for our new bishop as he begins his assignment as the new leader of our diocese.

ALL SAINTS CATHOLIC SCHOOL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN! Registration is open for the 2019-2020 school year for All Saints Catholic School. This includes registration for our

3K program which is now offered 5 days a week! Session times are 8-11am or 12-3pm. We would love for you to be part of our ASCS family! You can register online at: https://mytads.com/a/allsaintsberlin On Tuesday, June 4th, All Saints Catholic School recognized the accomplishments that several of their students made during the 2018-2019 school year. Certificates were given to all students who participated in the ASCS Sports Programs: Basketball, Volleyball and Soccer. Students in grades 5th-8th grade who achieved the standards set for by the President’s Education Awards Program recognizing Outstanding Educational Excellence were awarded pins and certificates. The students were scored on achieving a GPA of 3.5 or above for the school year, and scoring above grade level on the STAR Reading and STAR Math standard tests. In addition, six distinguished awards were presented to the six 8th Grade girls who graduated from ASCS on June 10th. All Saints is proud of all of these award winners and grateful to the teachers, coaches and parents who supported them in their efforts. The American Legion O’Conner Chiers Post 340 presented their American Legion School Award to

Cindy Liu. The Award is based on Courage, Honor, Leadership, Patriotism, Scholarship and Service. The Bruce Williams Memorial Award was presented to Ann Schmitz in memory of this Green Lake County

Sheriff’s Deputy who died while serving the Green Lake, Berlin and surrounding communities. Marjorie Lundt was awarded the Thomas C. Guden Memorial Award. Mr. Guden was a Berlin High School

graduate who died while serving his country in Viet Nam. We remember him as someone who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.

The Boone Kujawa “A Friend to All” Award honors the memory of a student of ASCS. This memorial award was presented to Sophia Shapiro, who exemplifies Boone’s love of life, friendship and family. The Kathy Sage Baxter “Extra Mile” Award went to Aubrey Schilling. Kathy Baxter was a Berlin business owner

who attended St. Michael’s School and graduated from Berlin High School. Kathy will always be remembered for her smile, always trying her best, and her helpfulness in her church and community.

The Victoria McLaughlin Award is new to the school this year. Victoria was the Mother and Grandmother of family members who belong to the All Saints Parish family. She was a nurse who helped over 7,000 patients in her career. This memorial award, given to Amelia Lindahl, goes to a student who is compassionate toward others, works hard to help themselves and others work to their full potential, and loves their Catholic faith.

News and Announcements

CROSSES ON THE HILL You may have noticed the display of pink and blue crosses on the hill by the welcome signs as you pull into the driveway. The crosses are here in preparation for our pro-life event which was held on June 20. They depict and commemorate all of the lives lost to abortion since Roe v. Wade was signed into law in 1973.

Each cross represents 100,000 abortions.

There are 500 crosses.

Do the math.

That is 50 million abortions since 1973.
