• Meeting The Needs Of Others On The Basis Of God’s Resources.” John Wimber

• Prayer Ministry is a cooperation between God and Us

“And you [Moses], lift up your staff and with hand outstretched over the sea, split the sea in two, that

the Israelites may pass through it on dry land.”…Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the

Lord swept the sea with a strong east wind throughout the night and so turned it into dry land. When the

water was thus divided, the Israelites marched into the midst of the sea on dry land, with water like a wall

to their right and to their left.”

• Pray For People Quietly With A Team Of Two, One Leads The Prayer

• Explain How You Are Going To Pray; Encourage Faith On A Particular Promise Of God.


KEY: Make praying for others comfortable to your style.


General Prayer Model:

• Face The Person You Are Praying For

• Keep Your Eyes Open

• Determine The Prayer Need

• Extend Your Hand In Faith

• Speak Clearly And Ask The Holy Spirit To Come

KEY: You took the step of faith, He won’t leave you hanging: TRUST and LISTEN!

The Holy Spirit Comes To:

• Convict Of Sin In Order To Make Us Holy

• Take Away Our Doubts About Salvation

• Make The Presence Of Jesus Real In Us

• Teach Us How To Pray:

“The Holy Spirit helps us in our distress. For we don’t even know what we should pray for, nor how we should pray. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.” Romans 8:26


• The Holy Spirit Gives Us Power:

“When the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you will receive power.” Acts 1:8

• Produces In Us The Life Of Jesus:

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.” Galatians 5:22

KEY: The most wonderful thing the Holy Spirit does is produce in you the life of Jesus!!!


KEY: Surrender to the Holy Spirit is a continual process; like breathing air.

“Let the Holy Spirit fill and control you.” Ephesians 5:18

This Is A Surrender Of Our Will, Without Reservation, To The Will Of God.

How?

Continually Examine Ourselves, Confess Our Sins, Thank God For Forgiving Us And Once Again Surrender The Control Of Our Life To Him.


Have I truly let go of my past to live in freedom now?
