Tablet features If using a touch-screen is new to you, the accompanying User Guide will give you some handy tips. The Start, Back and Recent buttons are located on what’s known as a ‘soft action bar’. This bar will appear at the bottom of your screen. You can always tap on the ‘Start’ button to return to the Start Screen at any time.

Getting started with Breezie
Your Breezie already comes preloaded with useful content and popular applications. But here are five important steps to ensure you get the most out of your Breezie.
When you switch on your Breezie, you’ll see a screen like the picture below.

#1 : Connect your Breezie to the Internet
The first step you need to take is to connect your Breezie to the Internet (or WiFi or Broadband) as most the applications you’ll use on your Breezie require Internet connectivity.
To connect your Breezie, follow these four steps. If you need more help - please refer to ‘How to connect to the Internet with WiFi’ in the accompanying User Guide.
Step A: Start by tapping on ‘You are offline’ on the bottom left of your screen. This will take you to the Settings of your Breezie.
Step B: Tap on ‘Connections’ on the left and then tap ‘Wi-Fi’ on the right side of your screen. Find and tap on the name of your home WiFi network (often called SSID).
Step C: Type in the WiFi password given to you by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and then tap ‘Connect’. You can usually find your network name and password on the back of your router box.
Step D: When your device has connected, your network will be highlighted.
If you have trouble finding the network name, the WiFi password
or connecting to the Internet, please ask a family member or
friend to help or contact the company that set up your home
WiFi network.

#2: Personalize your Breezie
Breezie is designed to be personalized to your abilities, likes and interests. You’ll see a tile called ‘Start to personalize’ on your Start Screen (as shown in the picture on page 8). Tap on this tile and then choose ‘Add your details’ to tell us more about you and your interests.
Once we receive this information, we’ll be able to personalize your tablet remotely and you’ll start seeing the changes we make within 3 to 5 working days depending on how often you switch on your Breezie and the speed of your Internet connection.
#3 : Book your FREE 20-minute Orientation call
Another good way to get started with Breezie is to book a free 20-minute Orientation call where we will show you how to use the main features on your device. During the call, we will be able to further personalize your Breezie e.g. add a personalized email address for you.
To book an Orientation call, please call us on +1 (844) 284 9524 or tap on the ‘Start to personalize’ tile on your Start Screen and then a tile called ‘Book an Orientation’. Choose a date and time convenient to you and let us know the best number to know you on.

#4 Nominate a family member or friend to use the Breezie Hub
As we explained before, the Breezie Hub (or family hub) is a great way to enlist some support from a family member or friend to help and support you. We call this person your Breezie Partner. It is a good idea to discuss with this person before nominating them as a Breezie Partner.
To nominate a Breezie Partner, tap on ‘Start to personalize’ on your Start Screen and then a tile called ‘Add a Partner’. Now provide us the name and email address of the person you would like to nominate and we’ll get in touch with them directly.
#5 Refer often to your User Guide
A User Guide is included in the box with your Breezie tablet. This is a valuable resource to help you get the most out of your Breezie. You don’t have to read it all at once, but you can refer to it as you need to. Breezie users in particular find it very useful to read ‘How to add a new contact’, ‘Using the on-screen keyboard’, ‘Charging your Breezie’ or ‘A simple guide to gestures and icons’.
