Cucuta it is the capital of the Norte de santander department. It’s located in the west part of the country and limits with Venezuela, being the most active frontier of latin america. This city is considered the ‘green city’ because of its parks and the quantity of trees in every street. It has easy access to little town with beautiful landscapes in the department. Something that characterize Cucuta is its friendly and cordial people, which are happy to have the visit of outsiders in their town. The city is full of history with important monuments of the country. It’s a growing city.

REALITY
Our city commercially it’s one of the most active of the country. Nowadays it’s one of the growing cities but it has some little inconveniences concerning to the economic development due to the contraband smuggling problems. The ‘healing’ process for this problem it’s a long term since it has to start promoting the youth and child education, so they can be the leader of a change in our city and over the world.

¿WHAT CAN YOU DO HERE?
The average weather of the city is around 25 to 34 ºC, which makes it perfect to visit aquatic parks inside the city, malls, bike paths, and be able to enjoy excursions to plenty of natural destinations with many landscapes as rivers, waterfalls, mountains, and so on. Nightlife is complemented with bars, restaurants, and nightclubs with different environments for different styles and tastes.
