• Kindergarten Aide, Substitute, Library Tech, and Library Teacher at Lagos.

• Master’s Degree in Information and Library Science from U of A in 2009.

Classroom Expectations

• Use the Six Pillars of character even if no one is there to see it.

• To avoid a Reminder Card and loss of my recess, I will remember to be safe, responsible, and respectful at Lagos, on the bus, or walking to and from school.

Reminder Cards(you don’t want to get one)

• I will hand these to students who are not being safe, responsible, or respectful.

• You will put this next to your student number on the wall chart.

• Loss of the next class recess.• If you end up with three reminder cards

during the same week you will miss Wacky Wednesday, complete a writing assignment about behavior, and I will send home a note for parent signature.

Three ways to earn points and be rewarded (Yahoo!!)

• Individual Student points• Team points• Class points

Individual Points

• Earn a bean for being a fabulous fifth grader

• Keep track of your beans in your bean bag

• The student with the most beans at the end of the quarter will be awarded a homework pass!

Team Points

• Group with the most points will get a homework pass

• We will change our seating monthly

• Team name and mascot

Class Points

• At the end of the day, I will tell the class if the point for the day has been earned

• If you don’t get a point that day, I have to tell you why

• A day point from a guest teacher is worth TEN points

• When our class hits 60 points, we will make time for an extra recess!
