    for your degree. Much has been done tolimit the possibility of error when using

    this tool however the possibility still exist.

    This box is a complete list

    of all the classes that arerequired of your degree .

    This tells you how many courses

    you have left.

    This is planning part of the

    tool that allows you input

    the classes.

    This is the visual layout of your

    degree including the prerequisite

    and corequisite relationships

    represented by the arrows

    A unfilled orange arrow means a

    corequisite relationship. This means

    you must have completed the

    preceding course before or during

    the same semester in order to take

    the following course.

    Solid Black arrow means a

    prerequisite relationship. This

    means you must have completed

    the preceding courses in order totake following course.

    A description of each course is

    included so just move your

    mouse over that class and a box

    will pop up automatically.

    Anytime you want to

    return to the course

    selection page click this

    button.

    A blue circle is used to indicate

    that any relationship arrow(s) thatstart inside the blue circle will only

    apply to that specific course and

    not all the courses inside the

    black box.

    A box with a red fill indicates

    there are prerequisite and/or

    corequisite relationship that are

    not indicated in the diagram andso you need to view the

    description to see if you meet the

    conditions.

    Start with selecting a term and a year

    that corresponds to your starting

    semester. Clicking the cell will provide a

    drop down menu to select your choice.

    Notice Fall 2010 was selected as the

    starting semester and the rest of thedates are filled in for the table.

    Next start by inputting your classes

    waived and then start entering classes

    you would like to take in the

    appropriate semester

    Notice 2 classes have been entered. Entry is not cap sensitive but

    you must include the space in between the prefix and the course

    number (Ex. MBA 7025 = Good while MBA7025 = Bad)

    3-4 things happen when you input a class correctly.

    First, the box for those 2

    course turns green to

    indicate you typed it

    correctly.

    Second, those 2 course on

    this list will disappear.

    Third, the class remaining

    decreased from 22 to 20.

    Fourth, once the prerequisite

    and corequisite relationship

    has been met, the following

    course will appear.

    Once you start selecting courses in

    the blue shaded area which are your

    concentration classes then thecounter will also keep track. Notice

    now it says Pick 2

    Continue in this fashion for the

    rest of degree. As soon as you

    have met the relationship then

    more courses will appear for you

    to enter into your planner.

    Notice after picking 2 courses in

    the blue shaded area, the bar now

    says Complete!!! to indicate you

    have satisfied this area.

    Finally!! This is what you want to see

    after you finish meeting all therequirements for the degree. Now go

    forth for the fun has just begun!
