RiverHills Bank’s Fresh
Start Savings Deposit Loan
W E L C O M E T O
Here’s how the Savings Deposit Loan Program works:
To be considered, candidates need to complete an RHB-approved Financial Education course, or have completed an approved program within the last 24 months. Two courses are currently approved:
• Mississippi State University Extension Service’s “Healthy, Wealthy and Wise”
• FDIC’s “Money Smart” curriculum
Completion of only one course is required.
After presenting to RiverHills Bank your certificate of completion of one of these courses, you will be eligible to apply for a Fresh Start Savings Deposit Loan.
You must have active checking and savings accounts with RHB. One or both may be opened for you upon confirmation of your eligibility for this program.
100% of your loan funds will be deposited into your RiverHills Bank savings account, and that balance will be held as collateral until the full amount of the loan has been repaid. Then that money is available to you.
Monthly loan payments must be deducted automatically from your RHB checking account, or from your checking account with any other financial institution.
Fresh Start Savings Deposit Loan amounts are available from $500 to $1,000, determined by your eligibility.
There are no loan fees or pre-payment penalties.
As part of our continuing
outreach to the citizens in our
community, RiverHills Bank offers
two creative ways to address their
credit needs. Our Fresh Start Loan
program is the first way; the Fresh
Start Saving Deposit Loan is the
second. In both cases, we have
shaped the programs to help
educate and provide greater
financial freedom to those ready
to make a commitment.
For full program details and additional requirements and qualifications, please come by any RiverHills Bank location.
All loan applications are subject to credit approval. You must be 18 years of age, have a consistent source of income and meet all qualification requirements of the Fresh Start Loan Program.
