MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS

• Regular members must have 40 hours of community service by the end of the year

• 25 of these hours must be in-club (Interact announces)

• Other 15 hours can be out-of-club (Opportunities that you find yourself)

• Any member that earns 50+ hours is considered a “distinguished member”

• Attend all in-club meetings (30 minutes of service!!)• Turn-in dues with application (online or to Mr.

Newman)• Be respectful and courteous whenever performing

service on behalf of Interact

SO…WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN?

• We have the lowest service hours requirements on a year basis (no semester deadlines!)

• Free stoles for seniors at graduation• Meetings only once a month (30min in-club

hours!)• Looks great on college applications• Opportunity to make friends and get more

involved with Broad Run

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• Full-club meetings are once a month•First Wednesday of each month (10/3)

▪Membership dues are $20 (mandatory)▪$10 for a t-shirt (optional)

▪Newman’s room is 177 in the new wing

▪Emails will be sent out regarding service opportunities once a week (starting after our first full club meeting!)
