JR. CAMP/QUAD!PEWAUKEE | JUNE 16-AUGUST 29, 2014

The BasicsWho can attend Jr. Camp/Quad?• Children must be at least 5 years old and have completed

5-year-old kindergarten. The maximum age is 14.• We accept all children, including those with special needs,

providing that we can adequately meet the child’s needs without endangering the health or well-being of the child, other children or the staff . Our staff -to-child ratio does not allow for one-to-one care.

When does camp start and end?The fi rst offi cial day of summer camp is Monday, June 16; we wrap up on Friday, August 29. If you need care outside of those dates, call us so we can help you.

We are open from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Where is the camp located?Jr. Camp/Quad will be held in a newly reopened QuadCare facility just across the street from Quad/Graphics’ Pewaukee plant on Duplainville Road.

This is our fi rst year in the facility, so this year’s campers will be paving the way for future campers! Help us decorate, explore, and make the facility our own!

How do I enroll my child?Log on to QG.com/quadcare for a registration packet, or call 414.566.2170.

Is there a registration deadline? We can take registration forms as long as we have room in our program. However, no child may start until their registration has been processed and the child’s fi le is up-to-date. Space may be limited.

How will I know if my child has been accepted into camp?Confi rmation of acceptance will be made via email, in person or by phone. In the event of an incomplete registration, you will be notifi ed and asked to submit missing requirements before enrollment is confi rmed.

A Typical DayWe pack our days full of fun, whether we’re heading out on a fi eld trip or spending the day at base camp. Every day is diff erent, but in general here is what your camper can expect.

FIELD TRIP DAY: We off er two to three fi eld trips a week. All campers participate in fi eld trip activities; exceptions must be cleared with the staff ahead of time. Many fi eld trips have a small fee, which will be billed to your account. Spending money is acceptable but should be just a few dollars, in cash. Our counselors will help campers understand the value of their money. We’ll swim, bowl, golf, play laser tag and more.

BASE CAMP DAY:Aside from the typical summertime fun – jump rope, tag, kickball and the like – we’ll have activities for all kinds of interests. Whether your child is a budding gardener or a craft-lover, he or she will be busy nurturing their interests.

Our Mission, Visionand Philosophy

More information about all of our policies can be found online at

QG.com/quadcare.

QuadCare’s summer camp philosophy is based on a set of strongly held beliefs. We believe that each child is a unique individual. We are aware of our responsibility to meet each child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical needs. We provide developmentally appropriate programs that help children enjoy successful experiences. We aim to strengthen each child’s own cultural identity.

We strive to provide an environment that is safe, clean, healthy and oriented to children. Classrooms are arranged with learning centers appropriate to the child’s developmental needs. Activity areas give children the opportunity to explore, to experience and discover.

We know that the strength of our program is the dedication of our teaching staff . We support our teachers with training, resources and freedom to create a unique learning experience for children. Our teachers create a caring and nurturing atmosphere and foster each child’s creativity and positive self-image.

We encourage positive methods of discipline, such as redirection. Our programs are designed to develop in children a sense of independence and respect for others.

We understand parents are the most important adults in a child’s life. We strive to create a partnership between parents and teachers for the benefi t of the child. We encourage frequent communication between parents and center staff . Our doors are always open.
