Mariachi Spectacular's mission is to promote New Mexico's vibrant artistic, cultural and ethnic heart and soul.

Mariachi Spectacular Conference's Arts Education offers an extensive and in-depth presentation of Mariachi history through lectures complete with interviews with figures of historical importance. MSA builds bridges for inter-cultural appreciation in the Mariachi musical genre by encouraging interested parties who want to learn and develop musical skills, allowing for an increase in understanding of this musical and cultural art form or by providing the opportunity to simply be entertained through concerts offered. All of this and much more can be achieved through programs and opportunities offered in MSA.

This event lives up to its name by presenting world-renowned professional groups showcasing a variety of styles within the Mariachi tradition. Performances are passionate, heart rendering interpretations of Mariachi classic songs. Many different elements of this Conference and Concert Series provide ample opportunities to be educated or simply entertained. Conference attendees, as well as the general public, can experience Mariachi music at its best, right here in Albuquerque. Mariachi Spectacular of Albuquerque (MSA) is proud and excited to offer a great opportunity to Folklorico dance enthusiasts to study under prestigious maestros at this year's  MSA conference. As a perfect compliment to mariachi music, dancers will learn about a Mexican region and experience choreography that brings forth the essence of that region through dance.  In true MSA form, we will bring forth some of the most well-known ballet folklorico instructors to Albuquerque as they share their exceptional talents with our conference participants.

Last year, was our first year returning ballet folklorico to our cultural line-up at the Mariachi Spectacular de Albuquerque Conference.   We want to continue to build momentum with ballet folklorico and your support will help us to achieve
